I love that there are guys on this board! I think it is so sweet that you are helping your FI with planning! And it's kind of ironic that your name is Elvis. I was listening to the radio just yesterday and they were talking about the latest top baby names and how Elvis was in the top 100...the radio guys were saying that they didn't know how it could be in the top b/c it seems like you never meet an Elvis. Hi there! I am also new to this board but have been planning 'n researching for a while. You may want to look into the Palace Resorts in Mexico. I know a girl who stayed at Cancun Palace which is kid and $ friendly and in the center of the fun in Cancun but then got married at Moon Palace. If you stay at one of the Palace resorts you can eat, swim and play (and get married!) at the other resorts. Congrats and happy planning!

Hi everyone! A little about us...My name is Danielle and FI is Dave. We have been together for 3 1/2 year, engaged for 10 months now. We live in St. Louis with our sweet baby/cat Sadie. I work in marketing research, he works in IT. I'm not new to planning, but am new to this board. We are doing a "planned elopement" to Moon Palace in Cancun. Our special day is October 21st, 2009. We are having a party/reception with our families on November 7th. I've been procrastinating planning since we finally decided on our resort, wedding date, and reception venue & date about 6 months ago. With only 6 months to go, I really need to get with the program! I do have my dress though...got that right after getting engaged! Sent out reception Save the Dates last week. I still have alot more to do! I look forward to getting to know you and checking out the wealth of information on this forum...I've heard good things about this place!
