Worked out with my pt last night, we did chest and back...and it hurt like hell, good times! lol

I hear ya! The news media up here makes my parents paranoid. Over the last few years, people from Alberta, or Canada in general have been involved in some unfortunate events that happened in Mexico....for example the "decapitating" murders of that Toronto family, or an Alberta man who fell off his balcony at the resort he was staying at and later died in hospital. I just tell my mom that the Toronto family was suspected to have gang-ties (anyone know anything about this btw? Haven't ever heard if they ever solved it beyond those two vacationing women they suspected...). Incidentally enough, we were staying at the Grand Palladium in the Riviera Maya the same week that those murders occurred at the Barcelo. I hope I'm not scaring any Barcelo brides, I wouldn't worry about it. I had put down the Barcelo as one of my resort considerations but heard back from the Iberostar first. As for the gentleman who fell off his balcony...I'm not sure what the story there was, I just figured maybe he had one too many drinks? No offence to anyone by that....

Ughhh, I've started working out with my PT again after a six week hiatus...this sucks! He works me so hard (which is what I pay him for) but it's such a mindf*ck to get on the scale and see my weight go up. It's probably muscle gain since I'm sure I lost some of my muscle during that six weeks but I hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaatttee that. Not to mention I'm bloated today and stuff... I have 2 weeks from today until my first fitting and I am so stressed about it!

I love #5, I think that they have enough color to make them interesting and stand out but not so much that they'll be the only thing people focus on. Good luck!

Duchess (Jamie), I totally agree! It's so refreshing to see REAL brides in their dresses and they have a certain excitement in their pictures that a model could never fake.

I was looking at the Garters by Kristi site and I was disapointed that I couldn't find a San Jose Sharks garter set as that is my FI's favorite team.

Hmm...well this Christmas, my FI and I are going up to my parents' place on Dec 23 after work and then leaving sometime in the early afternoon on Dec 25 to go down to his parents' place until the early pm of the 28th as we have to drive home that night because we're working the following week. Geez, do we have the same in-laws? My MIL said the same thing! I'm wearing a Maggie Sottero "Carla" dress. I told her he wouldn't look silly but she won't give it a rest. I just don't talk about it around her anymore since I think she's just grasping at straws trying to nitpick my wedding. My attitude towards her mentality is a big "F-U" hehe. Anyway, I'm sure you will look great together. Do what makes you happy!

Sigh! I mentioned this idea to my FI last night as I know he probably won't wear his ring on his finger since he says he finds them "uncomfortable" and can't get used to them. He totally shot this idea down because he said he didn't want one, I just think he doesn't want tattoos because his parents are so anti-tattoo (which is why I want more, haha). He said if worse comes to worse, he will wear his wedding band on the chain he wears 24/7. Blahhh....

I couldn't agree more, BC Bride! It is way too early after the October election to make such swift and harsh judgements. I'd prefer to have another election than to just let people overthrow the current government.
