Hey ladies! I was wondering if you could help me out. I started tanning last night for my wedding next month and the lotion I bought has bronzers in it. The lady that sold the lotion to me told me to make sure that I rub the lotion in the spaces between my fingers really good so that it doesn't stain them. Well I did as I was told...and the lotion STILL stained the spaces between my fingers. It looks so stupid!! Does anyone have a fix for this problem? Or know what I'm talking about? lol It's awful. Maybe I should just get a lotion without bronzer...

Sorry for the bump...I got the first two books for Christmas, and even though I thought the movie was good enough, I just wanted to say that the books are 10000000000000000000000000000 times better than the movie. The movie is still good, but while I was reading the first book, I would sit here and think "why wasn't this in the movie? or this? This could have really added to a scene". Oh well, I understand that you can't usually put 500 pages worth of content in to a two hour movie. I'm on New Moon now, love it so far!!

I've never heard of that one but my FH loves UTorrent and usually finds everything he's looking for on it...like really obscure things most of the time that most people probably aren't looking for. I'd recommend it.

I didn't want one and still don't, but apparently my little sister took it upon herself to throw me one tomorrow...ugh. I don't have any bridesmaids either so that's why I couldn't understand why she would bother but my mom said she insisted...

Hey Michelle, I can't remember if I asked you this before, but did you get your make up done for your wedding at El Spa? Would you recommend their makeup services to other brides? I want my makeup done for me but I don't want to end up looking overdone or trashy lol. Your makeup looks really pretty in your pics!!

Hmm, I never sleep with any jewelry on, this includes my e-ring...my mom raised me that way, she always told me never to sleep with it on, so I don't lol. I also don't do dishes, shower, or do yardwork with my e-ring on as I am scared of wrecking it or losing it...other than that, it is almost always on. I know my FI thinks he won't be able to get used to the feeling of a ring on his finger after the wedding, so if it drives him nuts, we agreed that he could wear it on his chain...but still, I'd prefer it on his finger. Oh well.

Yeah, I'm totally in love with their photography style. They do fantastic work!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. That article is pretty vague. It doesn't say whether or not those people are local citizens or if they are travelers and it says that nine of the tweleve of those people have criminal records. Perhaps it's local gang rivalries? Although this is a very disturbing article, I would still go ahead with having my wedding in Mexico. Just my two cents.

I agree with what the ladies above have said, for me, he's in many ways my opposite, which works nicely as I talk, he listens. I'm outgoing, he's shy. I'm serious, he's funny, etc... It also doesn't hurt that he can handle my many, many moods with quite a bit of tolerance haha. He's definitely my best friend, we always have fun together!

OMG Lancome makes the best mascara out there, glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. If I didn't make such crap pay, I would be an expensive makeup addict, unfortunately my salary doesn't allow it yet hehe.

I know this post probably doesn't help much or anything, but hopefully you ladies will sort your weddings out and I really hope that they go as smoothly as possible. Do any of you know if travel agencies get some sort of incentives for promoting this resort? When I was first looking in to a resort to have my wedding at in September, my travel agent "recommended" the Azul Sensatori even though it had not yet opened. My FI and I discussed this and basically decided not to chance it, and after reading through this thread, I must say that I'm very glad we looked else where. I have been checking up on this thread often because I'm so worried about all of you!!

Just throwing my two cents out here but from what I understand, RC priests CAN perform outdoor ceremonies but they need approval from the dioceses (sp?) first, I believe. I can double check that with my mom as she works in her town's local RC parrish office if you're curious. Good luck!!

lol OMG, I was hoping someone from BDW would post about this show! I watched it Monday night and I am just completely appalled by Jojo's mother! Like you said, Yourstruly, at least she's not a covert racist but still. I have a feeling that 2/3 or all of these guys will finish the show with no gf because their mothers are all so controlling...or at least that's how it seems so far.

Awww thanks for all your support ladies! I went for my fitting tonight and everything went really well, the ladies at the store loved my earrings with my dress and we didn't need to hem the dress as it is the perfect length once my shoes are on. I decided to go with a standard four button bussel as it was more cost-effective ($48!) and it was simple yet elegant. The seamstress made a beautiful four-tiered French bussel but it would have cost me an extra $300 alone, and to me, it's just not worth it lol. I'm also getting the bust taken in so that alone is costing $200 as the top of my dress has a lot of lace and beading. Grand total for alterations right now is $248...is that a fair price? I went ahead with it but I am curious to find out what others have paid. Pics to follow as soon as I can figure out how to get them off my damned cell phone hehe. Tiffiney - hehe sorry to make you paranoid This is what is on my mind when I have nothing else to occupy it haha!

Ummm yeah, that is crazy! I'd be uncomfortable with someone who has swastika tattoos asking me to write "happy birthday Adolf Hitler" on a birthday cake...gee! I'm all for freedom of speech etc and if that's what he wants on the cake then I guess they should honor it, but I think this scenario would freak most people out.
