Gail - Good, you should let them know that you are not satisfied with the quality of their service thus far. Also, I would email her that picture and ask specifically: - How much would it cost for those exact linens? (as you probably noticed, mine did not look like that at all) - How much would it cost to decorate the entire arch with ivy? (as per the attached photograph) - How much for each additional floral arrangement? My gazebo decorations as pictured in my review cost $90 for three additional floral arrangements (the two you see on the front columns and the one on the arch). If she is telling you that everything in that pdf picture you posted is only $60 USD, I call BS. I count six additional floral arrangements in that picture, not to mention a FULLY decorated arch. If this is the look you want for your wedding (and really, who wouldn't? it's gorgeous), I would keep on her about this until you know for sure and have it all in writing from Gabriela.

Gail - Sorry, I tried to answer your question yesterday but the site crapped out on me and it didn't post. Just looking at Stina's pic now. Wow, see that is what I thought I was getting on the arch! lol I have no idea if that costs any extra to get the arch decorated that way or how much. But I do know that if you don't explicitly tell Gabriela that that is exactly how you want it to look, then that is not how you will get it. Those linens are also different than what they used for mine too, so I'm not sure how you get those ones as, again, that is what I thought I was going to get. Also, yes, that is the gazebo in the garden area. Stina - Thanks for posting that pic! That's what I thought I would be getting. Very misleading on the resort's part, IMO. Laurenandbill - Thanks so much!! I'm very happy with how my hair turned out.

I'm so sorry to hear about all that you've been through in the last week and a half. It must be really tough for your, hopefully your family will provide a greaty support system for you as you really need them now. I'll be keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts. I wish you the best of luck with everything and if you ever need to vent, I know that the BDW ladies are always here for you too.

We had no bridal party and no ring bearer at our wedding so here's how it went: I gave my mom my DH's ring to hold on to as I knew she'd be sitting in the front and she could quickly give it to me when it was time. DH had his in his pocket but he decided last minute to give it to his three-year old nephew to bring up, even though he wasn't the official ring bearer. The original plan was for DH to just grab it out of his pocket when it was time. I also had my mom hold my flowers while she watched the ceremony lol. Hope this helps you!

I have a big sun-spot on the side of my face...I hate it and I don't know how I got it since I rarely ever tan unless I have a good reason to (like my wedding). I'm seeing my doc today so I might ask him if there's anything I can do about it.

Yeah, I don't think you're getting the whole story Gail...and you might not until your sit-down meeting with her...which is unfortunate because if you want concrete numbers BEFORE your wedding, that might be difficult. Sorry to hear you're getting the run around.

The pictures and the video are the only thing you'll really be able to remember the day by, may as well love them! My husband's uncle did a wedding DVD for us, it is awesome and it was free! I didn't even ask him to do it, he just did it because he enjoys doing it. So I would definitely recommend having family tape the ceremony too, as long as you don't mind it being as professional looking as it would if you hired a professional. I hope that makes sense haha.
