  1. I am so sorry to hear you were forced to cancel your wedding and relocate because of paranoid people, that's awful....sometimes I wonder if no one respects the bride and grooms wishes anymore! Anyway, I think the Grand Canyon or Vegas would be fantasic places to hold a wedding. Vegas is not as kitschy as some people might think, they have a lot of beautiful venues! Wishing you the best of luck as you re-plan your entire wedding!
  2. Yay Fringe and Lost!! Fringe is so good, just watched the season finale the other day...what a mind job!! I am sad to see that Priviledged is cancelled, I thought it was a cute show.
  3. Everything looks awesome! I especially love your centrepieces and your jewelry!!
  4. DH and I have a joint account which pays for bills only (as in mortgage, power, water, gas, etc). Each month, $1,000 is automatically transferred from each of our personal accounts and put in to our joint account. We each also have our own seperate chequing and savings accounts where the rest of our pay goes. For the wedding specifically, we used our Line of Credit against our house to pay for it (not ideal, I know) and we are paying that debt of slowly. The interest rates are so low right now that we pay about $25/month in interest on $14,000 of debt, which I think is not too shabby.
  5. Thanks for the review and congrats! I love your pics, you looked stunning!
  6. That's a terrible thing to have happen...poor girl! Just another good reason to always carry your dress on with you and really there's no reason not to.
  7. Congrats!! You looked so gorgeous and I love your bm dresses!
  8. Wow Yamille, everything looks fantastic!! Congrats on your upcoming big day, I can't wait to hear all about it! P.S. Your dress is gorgeous and I love the circle seating idea!
  9. Jac - that looks amazing, I would keep it just the way it is! You DIY girls never cease to amaze me with your creativity!!
  10. Kristin, thanks for writing such a fantastic review! I'm sure all future Iberostar brides will really appreciate all of the detail you made sure to include. I'm so glad everything went perfectly for your big day. It sounds like the Lindo/Maya service is a teensie bit better than the Beach/Del Mar side, if I were to go back to the Iberostar, I would definitely book the Lindo/Maya side but the Beach/Del Mar was great for us. I love your pics, especially the carousel one...you and your DH looked amazing. Congrats again Mrs.!!
  11. Jac - I totally agree, first class would be a must on a long flight but not necessary on shorter flights...the extra leg room was nice though! haha
  12. That's an amazing teaser pic, I can't wait to see the rest!!
  13. DH and I were bumped up to first class on the way down to Mexico only...not on the way back to Canada from Mexico (total bummer but oh well!). The reason we were upgraded to first class was because there was extra room in first class and they tried to sell the tickets first and had no luck, so they upgraded us for free. It was an awesome experience but I'm not sure it's worth the extra couple of hundred dollars per ticket. I hope this helps!
  14. Congrats!! Talk about making lemonade out of lemons...I love it! Your piggy props are too cute too! Sorry you couldn't have your dream wedding but at least you have your dream hubby! Congrats again!
  15. Everything looks great! Welcome back and congrats, by the way!! Can't wait to read a review and see some of your pics!
  16. Wishing you the best of luck and a very speedy recovery!!
  17. I am so sorry to hear this is happening to you!! I can't imagine the range of emotions you must be feeling right now and I know I'd be feeling the exact same way. This cements my paranoia about leaving the slip on my door for the courier to leave the package on the front step. I get scared every time I sign that slip that someone is going to steal whatever I'm expecting from me. I'm actually expecting a package to be left on my doorstep today and now I'm even more worried. I really hope you track down your stuff, especially since they're BD pics. *Hugs* let us know how it turns out!!
  18. BBtoB - Thanks!! Almost took them 3 months to the day to get it to me lol.

I will be starting to change everything over asap, can't wait!!
  20. Hey girls, Just popping in to say I am FINALLY receiving my marriage certificate from Mexico with the apostille today...yay!!!
