  1. This is very sad! What is going on lately?!?
  2. My favorites are also Melissa & Kayla and Ade & Vitolio!
  3. I'm late on this but congrats MarieSam!!!!!
  4. Whew! Just caught up! Carly you're welcome haha! I caught that Cat thing too and thought it was weird, maybe she gets to know who is eliminated too?
  5. I bought my Maggie off the rack and never received a certificate.
  6. So here's the rundown for tonight! Bottom 3 Guys: Vitolio, Jonathan, Jason Bottom 3 Girls: Asuka, Karla, Caitlyn ELIMINATED (SPOILERS BELOW) Asuka & Jonathan! Honestly, I'm not surprised and I was getting tired of Asuka's attitude and I was sick of Jonathan getting the "cute guy" vote and not having enough talent to back it up (IMO). Don't get me wrong, I thought Jonathan was great last week but it wasn't enough to save him this week. So next week Vitolio and Karla will dance together, wonder how they'll do together!!
  7. Oooh awesome thread! I'm going to have to dig through my pics to find em but there are a few for sure!! Yay, found em! I was so happy to see DH and I was thisclose to bawling like a baby at this point haha. One of my faves, DH and I were laughing so hard in this pic...looking at it always brings a smile to my face. I know I look like I'm wincing in this one but I was actually laughing my ass off because my step-dad told a dirty joke while the picture was being taken! Ok this one is just hilarious, everyone is cracking up and wtf is my older sister doing with her boobs?! hahaha
  8. sunandrun - I'm so glad she finally got back to you, have a blast at your wedding!!!
  9. Aimee - All very good points as I'm finding out the hard way that changing to my married name at work was not as easy as I thought it would be! lol
  10. Thanks for the review Yael, that place sounds and looks amazing! I'm so, so glad everything worked out for you after all!!
  11. June 25/09 1:17 p.m. forum whoring on BDW during my lunch! haha
  12. I'm so sorry to hear that you and your family have to go through this. It must be very difficult. Please know that the BDW girls will be keeping you and your family in their thoughts during this time. We're here for you!
  13. lol she jealous much? ahahaha, what a psycho.

It seems like I loved almost everyone last year! Save for Jamie and Rayven that is.
  15. Well here's the rundown tonight for me! Jonathan & Karla - Ouch, that was rough! I thought Karla did pretty well individually but Jonathan just wasn't keeping up with her. They weren't in synch in their dancing and it was painfully obvious. I would be shocked if they weren't in the bottom 3 couples. Vitolio & Asuka - How sweet is Vitolio?!? He seems like the nicest guy. I enjoyed their jazz dance but it wasn't like "amazing!!!", it was good though. Asuka still bugs sadly... Brandon & Jeanette - I was totally loving their hiphop dance or whatever you want to call it! It was funky and fun, I think they both did a fantastic job with it. Ade & Melissa - Wow that was a sexy, sexy dance. How crazy is that girl's body? I would love it if my back was that toned...I'm so totally jealous! Anyhoo, I really enjoyed their rumba, it was pretty sexy and there was this one move that Melissa did with her leg on Ade's shoulder and went through it or something? Whatever it was, it looked so neat! Kayla & Kupono - Viennese waltz, it's the classic SYTYCD kiss of death! Anyhoo, I really enjoyed it tonight and I thought they made it look beautiful and effortless. I thought they had good chemistry too which I am surprised about since it was their first week dancing together. Evan & Randi - Interesting choreography, but that's always expected with Mia haha. I thought it was a really cute dance...I don't know if it was enough to keep them safe though. I wouldn't be totally shocked if they were in the bottom 3 couples this week. Jason & Caitlyn - I liked their paso doble but I think the judges were right when they said that Jason was performing more to the audience rather than connecting with his partner. There were a few moments were I caught him making some kind of "performance face" right at the camera....it was weird for me. The music was totally wrong for that dance, IMO. I think they might also end up in the bottom 3 couples this week. Phillip & Jeanine - Ha! I loooove Singing in the Rain! I used to watch it all the time growing up, it was fun to hear that song again. I thought Jeanine was great in her character and I disagree with the judges. I felt like Phillip did a great performance and I thought he kept in character pretty well too. I kind of loved this broadway routine but I have a bad feeling in my gut that they have a chance of ending up in the bottom 3 couples this week too...but I really hope not.
  16. Kef - Awww great pics, thanks for sharing!! You were stunning, of course!! I loved your bouquet and flower decorations too, they look fantastic! I agree about Xcaret being better than Xel-Ha. DH and I went to Xel-Ha and 2006 and I wasn't that impressed for the price you have to pay to get in. My family went to Xcaret while they were down for my wedding and they said it was awesome. I saw their pics and I though it looked way more fun than Xel-Ha.
  17. Wow, I don't know how I missed this thread! Anyway, DH does know what I weigh and he has for a long time. Mostly because I complain loudly but also because in the almost 9 years that we have been together, I had (at my heaviest almost 2 years ago) gained 42 lbs...half of those were gained in our first year of dating!! Crazy right? Anyway, last year I wanted to lose 20 lbs and I'd always hop on the scale every Friday and excitedly tell him what I weight...I ended up losing the 20 lbs but gained 10 of those back over the last 8 months. Now I'm trying to lose another 20 to 30 lbs again and he is very supportive. He knows exactly what I weigh this very minute and I don't give a crap, although I do agree that it is a personal thing and if you don't want to share it that you shouldn't feel pressured to do so. He loved me when I was 120 lbs and he still loved me when I was 164 lbs and he loves me now at 149 lbs, so I know he doesn't really give a crap. I've been told by numerous people that I carry my weight extremely well and that I have (luckily) a very well-proportioned body, so I guess that helps too.
  18. Interesting thread Lisa! Here's mine: Age 4 or 5 (can't remember) - Surgery to put tubes in my ears as I was getting ear infections all the time, they stopped after the surgery. Age 8 - Was supposed to have my appendix removed as I had an attack but I felt better before they could perform the surgery so they sent me home. Age 23 - Lasik eye surgery Age 24 - All four wisdom teeth removed That's all of mine, I'm pretty sure!
  19. That's beautiful!! Congrats on finding "the one"!
