yeah girls, I'm feeling pretty bitter/disapointed about last night's show too. I wish they would do a Where Are They Now segment since they NEVER even talk about Sabra since she won, wtf is up with that? Do they hate her or something? They mention Joshua all the time! I googled Sabra a while back because I was bored and she's in some modern ballet thing, it's really interesting...why don't they ever mention this?!?! Argh! Andi - I wasn't surprised about Jeanette either but I really wish it would have been Kayla instead...Kayla's a great dancer but there's some kind of smugness about her that just totally puts me off.

lol Erin! I dunno, they have tvs attached to all the cardio stuff at my gym and that's STILL not enough motivation for me but I am the biggest lazy ass ever so it could be just me. SYTYCD Canada starts up on August 11/09...you can probably youtube it or maybe find some torrents of it the day after each broadcast.

Evan is this season's Comfort...seriously! Anyway, if Evan isn't gone next week, then I don't know wtf people are thinking when they're voting. Don't get me wrong, I think Evan is great, but the other guys left are making him look like a novice in comparison! Re: Katie Holmes. I wasn't that thrilled by her performance, it was mostly her just shimmying around the stage and doing some pretty awful lip synch. Like Nadine said, she dances/sings/acts on Broadway and she can't do it on live tv, seems a bit messed up. Loved Hok & Jaime's Humming Bird and the Flower dance, one of my faves for sure! I miss Hok!!!

Debs - welcome to the party! Rachel - I agree with your thoughts, and I hate when the judges say their favorites...it definitely skews the teenybopper fanbase. You should watch SYTYCD Canada on youtube! Yael - omg, seriously...I'm having that problem too! lol Between Season 6 of SYTYCD and Season 2 of SYTYCDC, Lost, Fringe, ANTM, when the heck am I supposed to have time for anything?! lol

Totally, it would be the best thing ever this season! I wish the hiphop was better this year, it's been kind of lacking overall and it's bumming me out.

Awesome recap Erin, you pretty much have the exact same thoughts as I did about all of it!! I'll just throw in my two cents that I think the bottom two guys will be Evan and Jason and the bottom two girls will be Jeanette and Kayla. I'm really hoping for a Jeanine/Melissa/Ade/Brandon top 4!!

omg you guys I totally agree!!! The first half of the show was a total snoozefest! I was so freakin disapointed and I was ready to give up for the night!! Thank goodness I didn't though because there were definitely some gems in there! I will do my recap in a bit, just need to get caught up on a few things at work first!

Awww that sucks, sorry to hear that! I don't know how getting a mortgage in the US is compared to Canada but we were allowed to put down a minimum of 5% up to however much we wanted. You don't have anything like that? We ended up putting down 10%

Color doesn't worry me as much as other things. My DH's aunt wore a super low-cut dress and her girls aren't exactly small. Those things were pushed up to her chin and when I was walking down the aisle, I saw them and did a double take....there was nothing I could do about it but I wasn't happy!! It seemed like she was trying to grab attention or something, not cool.

Christy - yay what a fun idea for your welcome books! I tried a bunch of drinks down there....here's what I recommend: - Mexicano (shot) it's 3 different liquors poured in a shot glass in layers to resemble the Mexican flag (green, white, red). Kinda tastes like sambuca. - Tequila Slammers!! - If you're in the Beach side lobby, look for Alfredo (bartender) and ask him for "Anti-freeze" lol see what you end up with. I ran out of drinks on the menu to try so he whipped up a bunch of different things together and called it anti-freeze, because it was blue and sweet. It's delicious! - I didn't have one while I was there but I've heard they make awesome Dirty Monkeys (chocolate + banana drink)
