  1. Rachel - omg Jason is a player or something hey?!?! You totally read my mind with your commentary about him and his smooching ways! lol Seriously, I wondered the exact same thing when Jeanine said it wasn't choreographed and then they did it again on the finale and they were both REALLY in to it. Sparks were flying for sure! They're going to be on tour together for the coming months and I'm willing to bet that they are or will be an item!
  2. yes, this is the best idea ever...seriously! lol I love the candies you used for this Amy!!
  3. oh wow, you did a great job...I love how these look!!
  4. Sloan - nice! Glad I'm not alone on the syrup on everything train! haha I agree real maple syrup is the best. Lettuce + pb? Hmm...PB is great on celery! When I was little we used to have pb on celery with raisins....we'd call them "Ants on a log" Jess - You too? That's awesome!!!
  5. Lori - I dunno, I think it's pretty easy to follow and I could probably eat this way for the rest of my life...it's definitely not unbearable. I think it would be a million times easier for me to follow this than SHD.
  6. Great review, thanks for sharing...congrats!!! Love your TTD pics, what a stunning bride you made!
  7. Estella - never heard of that before but if it's good then I say go for it! I loooove dipping my pizza in ranch and garlic dips.
  8. holy crap, how have I not ever seen this thread...I'd fit right in!! Here's a few of my "weird" food combos that I love: - Mac & Cheese with a little bit of Clamato juice mixed in - Cheese sauce (that I make from scratch) with spaghetti - Fries + spicy mayo (the kind they use on spicy Big Crunches at KFC) - Maple syrup on sausage, or bacon, or hashbrowns (omg so good, yes I'm strange) - Peanut butter on apples tastes amazing, seriously - Ranch dressing on almost anything, it's so versatile! - Dipping onion rings in plum sauce or bbq sauce - Chicken noodle soup with a bit of clamato juice mixed in I'm sure I have many more but that's all I can think of right now...never tried PB and mayo together before, though I enjoy both separately lol.
  9. Carly - you're totally right, Brandon isn't much taller than Evan! haha I agree, Evan has improved big time during the course of the show but not so much so that he merited a spot in the top 4, imo. I like his brother (Ryan) but I have a feeling he won't make it nearly as far as Evan did...not sure why but that's my feeling. Thanks for updating the thread title!!
  10. Andi - lol that's cute! Funny that you don't get to yell at the tv but I bet when R watches sports, he yells at it right? C yells at his hockey team when they suck. Nadine - I heart Jeanine so much! She's donating her prize money to an alzheimer's foundation, how aweesome is that? Makes me love her even more!!
  11. awww lol I loved Max before he got kicked off, he was my Russian ballroom dancer for the season. Still Pasha more though!
  12. lol Andi, I literally threw my arms in the air and shouted "YESSSSS" when the winner was announced...lol C laughed at me, of course!!
  13. Personally, I am THRILLED with the outcome and couldn't be happier!! I must say I was pretty surprised that Kayla was eliminated before Evan....that's crazy!!!
  14. omg is anyone watching it right now? Jeanine & Jason's contemporary dance (with the heart necklace) was reprised and wow, that kiss at the end was steamy!! LOL It looked like Jeanine wasn't quite finished with him yet when Jason stopped kissing her. hehehehe
  15. welcome back Desiree and congrats!!! The pics in your avatar/siggy look great so I can't wait to see the rest!!

  17. awww Lisa you crack me up! I do detest the way the look that's for sure but I get tired of freezing my ass off in the winter. I would love to walk on some marshmallows! haha $200? Ouch! I'll have to think about it I suppose. Hopefully still another two months before the snow flies, so that leaves me some thinking time.
  18. Erika - oooh I might have to try them this winter! Are they expensive?
  19. omg Nadine this weather has been brutal lately, wtf kind of "summer" is this?!?!
  20. Morgan - I have Eating for Life by Bob Greene, there are some great recipes in there!
  21. I couldn't have said that better myself, MissBlade! What you said is perfect and correct. Don't obsess over food because it will definitely lead to bingeing for sure. That's what's nice about CYWT is that because you get a weekly cheat day, you always have that to look forward to and not feel deprived. I literally eat anyting I want every Saturday and I love that! I used to eat fast food 4-5 times a week so programs like CYWT have really opened my eyes that you can still enjoy your favorite foods but also eat like a sane person most of the time and lose weight. It's very sound reasoning.
  22. I heard about that book but I haven't read it. I don't consider Cheat Your Way Thin to be a "crazy diet". If you read it, it makes a lot of sense and it's not a thing where you starve yourself. There's a great mix of protein, carbs, and fat...which are all essential to everyone's health and the author also talks about how getting a cheat day a week has great psychological impact on people. I actually really enjoy following CYWT for the most part.
  23. I 100% agree, Jojo. Weight loss is different for everyone and what works for one person might not work for another. The key is to find out what works for you, both as far as diet AND exercise go and that's where you will see real results.
