I'm kind of late on this thread and I didn't read through the comments before voting, so I can say this without being biased...I LOVE the turtles and voted for them. I also love the simplistic design with the turtles, sometimes less is more and I think they look awesome.

Finzup - yeah you're right, the protein bars I've had taste chalky/bland if that makes any sense. I was kind of grossed out by em lol. I'm SOOOO having chocolate this saturday for cheat day, woot!

This is a very interesting thread and I'm glad the question was asked. I also was under the impression that Americans were allowed to go to Cuba now and I'm happy to read here that they are...too bad it's not as easy though.

We stayed at our resort for two weeks as well! I was in Mexico 3 years prior to our wedding for another wedding and we only stayed for one week that time and it definitely was not enough time to see and do everything we wanted. For our wedding, we thought two weeks would be a better choice...and it was! It was long enough that we were ready to go when it was over and short enough that we weren't sick of anything yet.

I did my own makeup for my wedding also. I think a good starting point would be to go to your local MAC/Sephora/whichever store you're comfortable going to and ask one of the makeup ladies there for ideas and suggestions that would best suit your coloring. I did this at Sephora and purchased the makeup that the lady recommended and I was very happy with the results. I don't think you necessarily have to match your makeup to what your BMs are wearing unless you really want to. You're the bride and you can have your makeup look however you want it to look, that's the best part about being a bride!

Personally I would book the WC first as he/she may have some great input or ideas you may have not yet considered. Really though, I think it's a matter of personal preference. That's just what I would do. Good luck!
