  1. Hey Lisa, I'm here!! I fell off the wagon for about the last two weeks but as of Monday (Oct 26) I am back on the wagon! Ideally, I'd still like to lose another 10 to 15 lbs, so I'll be on it for a while yet.
  2. What a touching post...your grandma sounds like a truly amazing woman and I am so glad that you have so many happy memories to look back on when she is no longer here, you sound like a wonderful granddaughter and I am sure she feels so happy and blessed to have you and to have been able to spend so much time with you and to share in your civil ceremony. I am so sorry that you have to deal with this grief before your wedding. My thoughts are with you and your grandma.
  3. oh wow, that's a tough situation! Can you tell her that she can come if she wants but you aren't going to put up with her negativity on your big day? Or will that just fall on deaf ears anyway? I'm really sorry, I'm not sure I have any other solutions but I really hope that she can put her personal issues aside for one day for the sake of your happiness.
  4. Everything looks great Erika! Congrats on your day FINALLY being just around the corner, I am so excited to hear all about it!!
  5. B2B - ~*Lisa*~ (formerly Lisaloo79), she always has great input on a variety of subjects and is always so darn optimistic, love her! Mrs - My Mrs nom has already been nominated, woot! Good luck to all!
  6. Everything looks fantastic and I still love the CD idea! Congrats, can't wait to hear all about your big day!

Not because of bad luck, but because its her ring. I agree with Julie, this is how I feel about it too. When I first became engaged to my (now) husband, my little sister asked to look at it and I agreed because in my mind, looking does not = putting it on. Then she went to put it on and I kind of had a psycho moment there and gave her crap for doing that without asking me...but it's mine and I feel that it is only polite that the person(s) wanting to try it on should ask first, just my opinion though.
  8. Shannon - I liked my flowers (which were done by the Iberostar), I thought they were really pretty. I wasn't a fan of the bow on the ribbon they were tied in but no biggy. I didn't use a DJ so I can't give you any info about that, sorry! Hope the rest is helpful though!
  9. you most definitely have to pay the $50 day pass fee in ADDITION to the $300 penalty for the outside photographer, so you ladies may want to double check to see if your photogs are bringing an assistant because you will need a day pass for the assistant as well.
  10. Congrats H-Bomb on your big day, can't wait to hear about every last detail and see all the STUNNING pics you will have, woot woot!
  11. Awww Holly great e-pics! I love the one with the blue balloon and you two are smooching...adorable!
  12. Congrats again Yael, you and the hubster are clearly very talented! Keep up the great work!
  13. everything looks awesome, I LOOOOOVE your wedding dress and reception dress! Congrats!!
  14. Lisa!!! Awww, way to make me cry all over again! lol Love you so much and I am thrilled/honored/proud (and many other awesome words I can't think of right now) to be involved in such a great cause to help your dad, you, and your family and many other people who also find themselves in such situations right now. I truly believe that with enough hope, love, and perseverence that people can overcome any obstacle (good or bad)! I keep you, your dad, and all of your loved ones in my thoughts constantly and I think that the BDW "family" is the best family I could think of. There are so many amazing and caring women (and a few men hehe) on this site and I am so proud to be included among such individuals.
  15. Awwwww Thanks again everyone, I you all so much!!! Yael - hahhahaha, love the smileys since I'm a smiley-whore Quote: Originally Posted by Sloan Yay! Happy Day Kathy, hope you have a good one! With the jeans, what I do is buy the low rise so that I'm not losing what little waist-length I have to pants that sit too high up. I find it seems to help but the problem with the low rise jeans is that my pooch hangs over the edge of it so sometimes it might look like I'm preggers haha. I don't know what to do, where a corset 24/7 under all my clothes I guess?
  17. Lisa - I agree with Katie, most of them probably didn't "survive" the diet hehe Just wanted to post that I am wayyyy off the wagon this week lol I am very ashamed! Hopping back on the wagon effective this coming Sunday. Pray for me girls! hahaha
  18. I'll miss her as a choreographer, not so much as a personality or whatever because most of the time she comes across as really stuck up and full of herself. Just my two cents.
