  1. My WC took care of this for me. She strongly recommended that FI didn't go fishing on the day of the wedding, so we are taking her advice. He's going fishing and golfing earlier in the week while I hang out with my girls.
  2. Wow, I'm so impressed! I also love your gift boxes- so original! Everything is beautiful

Welcome to sun, sand and relaxation…Welcome to Beaches Turks and Caicos! We are both so happy and feel very blessed to be able to have you here at our wedding in Turks and Caicos. We are especially honored that you have traveled this far to be a part of our marriage celebration. Many years from now, when we look back on our life and this day, we’ll remember that being surrounded by the family and friends we hold so dearly was the perfect beginning to our life as husband and wife. Each of you is providing us with special memories that we shall treasure forever. We hope you enjoy the “goodies†included in this welcome bag. They are just a small token of our appreciation. Please make the most of your vacation here in Turks and Caicos. We hope the next few days will be as memorable for you as they will be for us. With Love, Michelle & Dan Thanks for posting this! I need to write cards for OOT Bags this weekend, and this will be perfect. Lord knows I don't have time right now to search the forum. Thanks for putting this right in my lap!
  5. Ran about 4.5 miles and did a short arm workout.

I'll let you know what the skeptic says! As for me, I was a tiny bit hesitant as well, but I am SOOOOO happy I did it. It was really fun, and I love the pics. I will have them forever, but I won't have this body forever. You should totally do it!!! I am so happy I didn't let this opportunity pass me by.

  8. Thanks everyone! You sure know how to make a girl feel good! Boudior Divas told me to bring a good, black push-up bra and a few pairs of cute underwear. I also brought the fishnets. I got everything from Victoria's Secret. You can't see it, but one pair of underwear says "Just Married" across the butt. The studio has lots of props and the fedora belongs to them. You should ask your photographer if he/she has props. I bet they do!
  9. The Boudoir Divas I had an opportunity to take pics with the Boudoir Divas in San Diego, CA! They are an all-female group of photographers. Crystal, my photographer, was really professional and sweet, the shoot was so much fun, and I was able to choose pics for my book within one week. If you are in the SoCal area, or want to travel to San Diego (who wouldn't, right?!), I highly recommend these ladies. They posted a few of my pics on their blog (Tuesday, April 14 post), and here they are! The Boudoir Blog

Sounds like you are keeping things in line. Does the yellow flower/bow come with it? I love that part! And you'll prob. be more comfy in #1 than #2.
  11. I'm not wearing the veil. Here's my hair flower and earrings. I'm wearing my hair down and wavy.
  12. Jennie, your pics are up!!! They are all so pretty. I like them all, but they are all different. #1- Very pretty! Very sweet, if that makes sense. #2- The most stunning dress. The most formal. It gorgeous! #3- I think this is the sexiest dress. Very flattering. You have a hard decision to make. Let us know which dress you choose!

  14. Lindsay, your dress is beautiful! I think it's perfect for Playa Fiesta. Jennie, we can't see your dresses.

I think I will be switching to level 2 next time I do it - as I posted before, I've been working out for many years, so level 1 wasn't as much of a challenge for me. I do, however, think that the interval training approach is an effective one - I think I'll be doing this video on days when I am short on time and can't work out for longer periods. I think it is a nice addition to my collection for time efficiency I also have Results Fitness - Boost Your Metabolism, The Firm 500 Calorie Workout, and The Firm Maximum Bootcamp, and these are somewhat similar to the Jillian video. If any of you out there are looking for a longer workout but similar in training style to the Jillian video, these are 40-60 minutes long. Results Fitness also does a video called "10 Days to a Better Body" that includes 2-30 minute videos - one for upper, and one for lower body, so you can do one workout or both if you like for a longer workout. Just make sure you don't judge this video by level 1. Levels 2 & 3 are much, much difficult! Thanks for the recommendations on the other videos.

It is like old favs with a latin flare... it was awesome. So we didn't even talk about it, he just did it. Trust aldo. He is VERY talented. Plus, he gets to know you and your group all week long so he knows how to set the mood. Kate, I have a template, but it would still be cool to see yours. This is the one thing I've totally procrastinated on! I do trust Aldo. That's just one more thing I don't really have to time to stress about. I'm sure it will be fab. That's me moon-walking to Aldo's jams!!! Ha!
  21. I need a great place to have a bachelorette dinner! I will probably have 10-15 girls with me. I want to go someplace fun with yummy food. We'll hit the clubs that are recommended in this thread after dinner. Please throw me some suggestions!
  22. Congrats! Everything looks awesome! I can't even believe that pic of you in the jeans. That's so fantastic- especially that you have kept it off for two months.
  23. Oh wow! You look so pretty. LOVE your dress. I'm so happy that you had such an unbelievable wedding. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
