We are renting a house called Cantamar (on sayulitalife.com). We just plan to surf, eat and relax. We also want to arrange yoga classes and a canopy tour. Thanks! Hi Colleen, My recommendation for a WC is Andrea & her husband Gabby from Sayulita Dream Weddings. My FI and I met with her while we were in Sayulita, and we totally hit it off. We also loved her style. It would have been a pleasure to work with her. Now I'm curious- who do you have in mind?! I also have some recommendations on places to eat! - Burrito Revolution- This is a CAN'T MISS!!! Yummy, yummy burritos prepared right in front of you. Grab a beer from the store down the street and they will crack it open for you while you eat your burrito. - Sayulita Cafe- Delicious dinner! And cheap as well! - Taco Cart- I'm not sure of the name, but we had 10 tacos for $8.00 and they were amazing. PM me for my pics of Sayulita if you want to see them.
  2. That dress looks very, very pretty on you! My friend is getting married next month in a similar Maggie S. and I love her dress too!
  3. You and your dad will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  4. Your BM's are so lucky! Their gifts are fab. Great job on everything!

  6. The color might be a tiny bit off, but I honestly think they look great! The blue and green look good together and both colors look great in the bag. I would be mad if your blue towel was purple or something like that, but it doesn't look like that is the case.
  7. Welcome to the forum!!!
  8. In Sayulita, there is also Don Pedro's Palapa. It's not a villa, but you get married on a green lawn overlooking the ocean. The reception is set up in the same area under a giant palapa. It's very pretty!
  9. Invites- I'm having mine made. The design should be complete by the end of next week. I will probably get them in December.
  10. I just checked the details of my insurance. It's wedding ins and not travel ins. It covers the cost of the venue, dress, jewlery, deposits made, etc. We obtained it from our regular ins. carrier.
  11. You are all right! Those pics were amazing and tear-jerking. Yes, Angela with the hankie totally got me too. Congrats on your beautiful wedding.
  12. I would suggest anything by Jennifer Weiner. It's total chick lit, but "smart" if that makes any sense. I love her. Also, Sophie Kinsella also writes under another name, Madeline Wickham. They are one in the same and if you've read all of the Shop. books, try the novels written by Madeline Wickham. I just read one that was written years ago (pre-shop, I think) and it was hysterical. Oh! I also recommend Emily Giffin. Her 1st book is called, "Something Borrowed" & the second is "Something Blue." They are both light and entertaining.

There are many great options in Punta Mita too, but I can't find anything in Sayulita. I would love some info if you have any suggestions. Also, if you have pictures you could email I would very much appreciate it. Thanks so much. Colleen Go to Information for Sayulita Nayarit Mexico including vacation rentals, real estate, maps and restaurants for the village of Sayulita for a list of homes & pics for rent in the area. You won't find many villas like you would in Punta Mita or PV, but there are some nice houses. Also try La Punta Realty - Christie's Great Estates - Luxury real estate in Mexico I just vacationed in Sayulita, so let me know if you have any questions about the town. I love it! I also have a rec. for an awesome WC there. - Melisa

It looks gorgeous from the pics I seen!
  15. Since there are so many Jason Mraz fans out there, also try listening to Tristan Prettyman. I like to call her the "female Jack Johnson." She's a surfer girl from San Diego and her music rocks! I love it!

They were only 97 cents each- a great buy, I think! There is a little room inside to advil, tums, etc. I am giving everyone until 2/15 to RSVP. Now I'm thinking about moving it up. The thing is, I know there are going to be last minute changes no matter what I do.
  17. If anything, getting the darn thing to work made my man realize that we only have SIX MONTHS to go! Wooo Hooo!!!
  18. Bianca's right. There's no harm in adding your name to the list, but it's just not necessary to do so.
  19. Hey Everyone! I'm happy to tell you that this is actually a scam that has been going around for a while now. Your cell phone number will not be released! Snopes investigates whether these claims are fact or fiction. Melissa
  20. Welcome! May is a really popular month, so not to put even more pressure on you, but I'd encourage you to try to pick a location soon. The rest of the details will fall into place.
  21. Thanks, everyone! I got it! I was pasting my ticker into the wrong place.
