  1. I also got a beaded belt to wear with my dress. Too bad I didn't order it with FI's suit. I could have saved more money. Oh well. Still a great deal!
  2. I ran 4 miles this morning and took a yoga class this evening.
  3. Good for you! You must be very excited! You will be in good company with all of the other Dreams brides on BDW.
  4. FI bought his suit from JCrew this morning! It was only about $230, including taxes. This sale is killer!

  6. I ran about 3.5 miles this morning and I'm going to pilates (1 hour class) tonight. My run was crappy this morning. Some days I feel so good and other days I can barely make it.
  7. That's probably a good idea- especially white bread and white pasta. Sweet potatoes are really good for you though, so I wouldn't cut them out.
  8. I ran 4.7 miles in the freezing cold this morning and did a bit of an arm workout. Does anyone know where I can get a good arm workout? I just want to tone. I have 3 and 5lb weights at home and a resistance band with handles at the ends.
  9. I am anti giving up all carbs. The other girls have made very good points. I took a very scientific nutrition class in college, and of course I don't remember the scientific explanantion, but giving up carbs completely is really bad for you.
  10. I am not a nuritionist, but I know there are lots of healty, high fat foods; avocados, nuts, peanut butter, banannas... I'm sure someone else will have better suggestions, but it's a start.
  11. DB2B, I didn't get the date I wanted either. I was bummed for about 5 seconds, but once you move on you will forget all about it. Picking a location and date is sooooo stressful, but after that initial stress, the excitement takes over!
  12. 5 miles on the treadmill. Hungry and ready for dinner!
  13. Overslept and missed my morning Pilates and cardio. Now I have to do if after work. I like this thread. Thanks for the motivation ladies!
  14. I think we will organize a fishing trip, but I'm not sure about a boat cruise... Even though we have 5 nights, it seems like they are already pretty full; Welcome Dinner, Bachelorette/Bachelor Parties in town, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, Brunch, and I also want to zipline.
  15. Have you looked at Jenny Packham? She has awesome non-traditional wedding and ready-to-wear dresses! Jenny Packham
  16. I haven't been to RM, but from what I've heard and seen, the ocean is more clear. PV have some rocky beaches and some sandy beaches. I think there's lots to do in both areas, but if you have surfers in your group, I would go to PV. Also consider flight costs to each location from your home base.
  17. Yeah, he's incredible. We found him through a WC in Sayulita. He does a lot of weddings in the area, but mine will be his first at Playa Fiesta. I just think it's so funny that it turns out that he knows Michelle Turner. I guess the great photogs stick together!
  18. I found my photographer before I found Playa Fiesta, so I'm bringing him in. Turns out, Michelle Turner know my photographer, Evrim Icoz, because they both do a lot of DW's. Michelle invited Linsday to dinner with Evrim a couple of weeks ago. It's funny what a small world it is!
  19. Thanks, Kate! The pics are so awesome! I'm sending Michelle's blog to my family and friends to get them excited!

We picked Puerto Vallarta over Sayulita because it's a bigger city, and we thought more of our less traveled relatives would enjoy it more. Guess what- the people we picked PV for are STILL not coming! Do what you want to do and be happy with your decision.
  22. I'm actually doing BD in San Diego (where I moved here from). I don't think we are doing an AHR. All of my family and friends are on the west coast (well, except for the few friends I've made here), so it would be hard to have a big party later. Basically, it's the wedding or bust!
