  14. [quote I read on MSN yesterday that she actually dresses up as a police officer at the concert for one of her songs, kind of reinacting and making fun of that night! I don't care what she's done, I love her music and she's so entertaining! She does dress up like a police officer, but I never would have equated it with that night if you hadn't mentioned it. It didn't seem like she was making fun of cops. She wore it while she sang womanizer. To me it seems like she was policing, or cracking down, on the womanizer... something like that.
  15. Classy! That's how I would describe your thread. You guests will love their gifts! I know I would. I also love your wedding ensamble (dress, shoes, jewelry, flower). Congrats!!!

So today I'm tired and have this lovely hangover headache! I wish I would've gone home right after the show.

I just put in an order to Amazon to get it, but I am still pretty skeptical as to whether it will work for me or not. The main reason is that it is only 27 minutes long, including warmup, cooldown and stretch. So at the very most, doing it once will only burn 200 calories, so I am guessing that I am going to have to do another workout to actually lose any weight/fat. Since you have to create a 3600 calorie deficit to lose one pound, that means that if you only do this workout and eat a maintenence diet, you will only lose one pound per 18 days, even if you do it every day. To me, that's hardly a "30-day Shred". I have to also say that I already workout 5-6 times a week for at least 40 minutes per session, and do a combo of weight lifting, aerobics, and running. Will this DVD actually do anything for someone who is already reasonably accustomed to working out? - it seems that the best results will go to people who don't already exercise regularly. You've made a lot of good points. I use this workout to supplement my cardio workouts. I wouldn't expect that the shred workout alone would cause me to lose weight. Since I already workout a ton, the key for me to losing weight is actually diet. The reason I really like this workout is the combo of cardio and weightlifting. It totally changes the dymanic of working out, and it took my normal routine to a new level. I promise you will be sweating, panting, and cursing at Jillian! It's much easier for me to get on the treadmill and run for 30 minutes than it is do a level 2 or 3 workout. I think you will find it beneficial even though you are currently conditioned to working out. As for results, one of my friends noticed more defintion in my arms last night. I hope this helps you out!
