  1. The last thing you want to be is stressed out so I would recommend finding another on that makes YOU feel comfortable that a quality job will be done and also in a seamless manner.
  2. I would start with what you and youfr FI likes. Then take into consideration budget, your likenesses (beaches, water, activities, etc) and narrow down your search that way. Also , consider any language challenges you may have and if this would be a source of frustration with some of your elderly guests. Do what makes YOU most happy and the majority of your guests. Remember you cannot please everyone. Good luck to you
  3. you could also try contacting one of our TA's on this website. All are pretty knowledgeable and more than willing to answer your questions.
  4. thanks for the tips. I know that advice to be very true, just have not implemented it! But I will starting next week.
  5. Have an amazing time---we wish you all the best for an amazing day!

  7. well for those doing a wedding in the carribean or such, a beach is generally the theme so i think most of us have that theme. But going the etra mile to create a theme on top of that, we opted not to, as we wanted to keep expenses down. So we have beachy themed OOT bags, our invites/RSVP, etc...the general stuff.
  8. thanks for the post. How is the Target and prices for OOT bags?
  9. I hate DB with a passion..They try to pass themselves off as a premier bridal gallery---NOT! I would suggest making an appointment so that they do not turn you away.
  10. Was it hard to upgrade to a better room or suite?
  11. Everything always works out somehow. And just think whether you were having a DW or traditional, these things were going to happen anyway so don't blame yourself at all!
  12. Wow you have a lot of stuff there. Would you take 20 for the express shirts each?
  13. I too would use a TA, as they can arrange things for you and take a lot of the communications and back and forth off of you. I would suggest planning your wedding just like you would a traditional. There are many threads on this forum about STDs. If you have a lot of invites or not, send them out and then do your Invites like 6 months in advance or closer if you'd like. he info for the TA can be sent in an email or are you doing a wedding website, newsletter, ??
  14. Unfortunately there will be no dancing lessons for us...Can't get FI to even consider it. Oddly enough I saw a Bridezilla episode where the bride and groom did a booty shake dance routine ---OMG!! You guys will have an absolute blast! In the meantime.......(crickets chirping in the background)...
  15. Oh wow --that is a gorgeous dress, light airy--its perfect. And so will you be on your day--don't stress the weight issue and work yourself up.
  16. They can do ANYTHING these days with mani and pedi, especially pedis. The french is usually natural, and yes anything extra acryllic, crystal, etc will hurt a little bit. I would as Erin said, grow your nails slightly longer so the french tip can be applied better and do it there--schedule your spa apointment.
  17. oh that is great news! I was a little concerned and planned to bring some mixed CDs
  18. this was very helpful--thanks ladies. I am so behind the eight ball now and need to get cracking!!
