  1. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!! I know what you mean about some of the things that bride said seemed to be avoidable. I almost wanted to write her a message that said "you should've joined BDW forum!". I was trying to just go with the flow and stay positive but it was really hard to read that review. Thank goodness you were here RMB 12408 to calm my nerves!! I'm even more excited now that I've read your Trip Advisor review!!! Thanks so much...you're awesome!
  2. Ok, so I'm one of those crazy brides 2 be that is constantly checking Trip Advisor for reviews of Riu Montego Bay even though they've all been pretty much the same and the overall rating is a 4 star so I had some concerns (food and beach) but I knew that as long as I kept a positive outlook on it that everything would be great! Also, RMB 12408's and Indigo's comments made me feel better so I felt ok about everything. BUT... then I went on Trip Advisor just now and I'm a little concerned. Apparently this bride who just got married at RMB had an awful experience... I know it's only one person but I'm feeling anxious now. Does anyone else have these worries or am I just over-reacting? Here's the link for the reviews. Montego Bay: Riu Montego Bay Hotel - Traveler Reviews - do not choose for a wedding..... - TripAdvisor
  3. Welcome...there is lots of info on here of what to do/excursions in MoBay! congratulations!
  4. Here's a bout of encouragement for all of us. We're working our butts off (hopefully litteraly) and it's definately not easy to have will power and motivation to eat well, not eat junk food and get out butts to the gym. It seems like you work so hard and then every week seems like there's so little change. Just keep working at it and for those of you who say..I just hope I can keep it up...you won't have to! Maintaining is definately easier than losing weight. You definately still have to watch what you eat so that you don't go overboard but those little cheat snacks can happen a little more often when you're maintaining and you don't have to be quite so strict. So here's to getting to our goal weights and then staying there!!! That's my motivation. I could never keep this up forever but the idea of only having to maintain is motivation enough to get there!

  8. YAY our first RMB bride is back!!!! I'm so excited to hear about your trip. It must've been amazing! Congratulations...we'll be waiting for the review!!!!
  9. I completely understand! it's like when your friends are coming up for the weekend to visit and you're almost like...don't stay the whole weeked cause I need to eat healthy at some point!! I find it so hard to keep eating healthy when no one around me is watching what they eat. If I turn some high fat food down I get a look or a comment like..why don't you just eat it! I know you're mom's probably not pushing you to eat junk but company comes with food...it's a part of being a good hostess. Good for you for getting to the gym while she was there! Hang in there and remember to drink lots of water. You can jump back on the wagon tomorrow...first thing!! As for me...I think I'm losing my motivation. I've lost what is an acceptable amount and now that I'm ok with my weight I need something extra to push me...cause I would LOVE to lose more and get more toned. I like how my dress fits now but I want to look smokin' the whole week in Jamaica on the beach and by the pool...I think maybe I just re-motivated myself just by thinking about being in Jamaica. It's not easy but I'm gonna do my best. I don't want to have any regrets come April...I want to know that I did my best to get in great shape...(thanks for listening to my rambling rants to motivate myself!!)haha
  10. Congratulations. You definately came to the right place. You'll get all the help you need here!
  11. The moisturizer will probably help stop it from continuing but I'm sure it's really not that bad. I find I notice things about myself when others never notice at all. Stick with the moisturizer and I'm sure you'll start to feel much better soon. I don't know of anything you can apply/take to tighten skin but I'm sure there's something out there!
  12. Marshall 1980 I pm'd you. I realized too that I have a form from the resort that has all the days and times of the activities right on the resort (ex. entertainment, volleyball, dance class, etc.)
  13. IT WORKED!!! Thank-you sooo much. - I had to click on *insert* *graphics* *from file* and then found the file....thanks again!! Funny that we were just pm'ing and I jsut realized you're from NS and now you helped me out a lot!! Thanks!!
  14. I'm feeling really dumb right now cause I waited for my monongrams to be done by Sarah Sproull and now that I have them I LOVE them and want to use one for my tags on my favours and on other things as well. My problem is that I can't seem to use it with the templates that I have. I have tried opening it in paint and then copying and pasting it to a doc. but it keeps saying there's been an error and then when the page shows up it shows the space where the monogram is supposed to be but it doesn't show the monogram...just a blank space. I know it's probably something really simple but now that I have my monogram...how do I use it?? (it's a jpg file)
  15. All of us BDW brides are so happy for you...especially those of us heading to RMB! Congratulations!! Happy wedding day!!!
  16. OMG Indigo! It's you're wedding day today!! Congratulations!! - Even I can't believe it's come this quickly. I hope you have an amazing day!
  17. Wow, those are so well done. I wish I was crafty enough to do something like that!
  18. Just like everyone else is saying...they are both beautiful dresses but the 2nd one is smokin' on you! It's flattering to your figure which is what we're all looking for isn't it?!!!!
