To be honest I'm not that sure that all your guests will remember to bring them to the reception. I am planning on doing the maracas thing too but we're going to use them as place cards. We're going to tie a card to them. One side will have the person's name and table number and the other side will say: "Now the party’s getting good, we’d like to hear this if we could, stand and shake with all your might, and see the groom kiss his bride tonight." I totally got that off of someone else on this forum, but I don't remember who. Whoever it was, thank you!

I guess it depends on how formal your invites are. Are they closer to the formal side? I know tons of girls on here printed them on the computer. I did passport invites and I actually just used clear address labels which worked out great.

Hi all, I guess I never really posted back after I officially set my wedding date. My DPA date is June 18! Quote: What are your thoughts on using freeze dried rose petals? Hi girls, it's been a while since I've played in this thread. I ended up having to move my wedding date 6th months earlier than planned so I will not be having my wedding at Riu (long story!). Where are you planning on having your wedding? I think the Riu's Caprice package can have unlimited guests, up to whatever the resort's maximum is (as long as all the guests are staying at the resort).
