  1. My salon was going to charge for storage so my mom stored the dress at her house until it was time for fittings. I got fittings done elsewhere since I had found my dress at a salon in the area I don't live in. $100 sounds like a great deal, but be careful with that initial quote. I was quoted $100 when I first took it in but at each fitting (I had 3) I kept losing weight due to wedding stress so she had to keep taking it in. In the end I almost spent $300.

  3. Like the majority of people, we packed our OOT items with us and assembled them when we got there. Since we were scared of the weight restrictions we had my BIL and my parents pack some of our stuff in their suitcases too.

  5. Are you ladies talking about the golf course in Puerto Aventuras or other golf courses? My aunt and uncle went to a course out in Playa del Carmen, but I'm not sure how much it was. Warning...depending on the time of year you can go it can get very hot out on the course. My aunt and uncle are avid golfers and they said they had lots of trouble finishing all 18 holes because it was so hot.

  9. Welcome Buckeyegirl! Yes, it's DPA's policy that you have to pay for at least one night if you have an outside photographer.
  10. I've heard and seen inner and outer envelopes, but for traditional weddings. I did passport invites so I didn't bother with the extra envelope. What a pain!
