Small world. I went swimming with the dolphins a couple days after my wedding with our flower girl and we got to see the baby dolphin! 3. Thanks for the details Rain!! Sorry to hear about the flowers. I'm glad you liked Sascha!! He and Lars are amazing! I still stalk his blog all the time, so I can't wait to see your pics!!
  4. Welcome Oscar Ernie! Glad to have another DPA bride onboard. Dee - congrats on getting to your goal weight. What an accomplishment
  5. I like 3 if you want to wear it down, 17 if you want it up. Lots of the options look simliar. I'm sure whatever you choose will look great!!

I think they bar closures depend on how many people hang out there. If there are lots of people at the bar then the bartender won't leave. At least that's how it was back when I was there. Or maybe one of my guests just slipped the bartenders a few bills, LOL. After my reception at the lagoon we hung out at Barracudas until about 11 PM
  7. Wow. Carraazzy chick on the loose. Funny yet sad at the same time.

So exciting!! You're so close. I'm sure whereever you have your reception it will be perfect. Don't stress!! Yes kids are allowed by the game pool. I guess I could have called it the main pool. I referred to it as the game pool because there's constantly some sort of pool game going on during the day. It's definitely the louder over there compared to the adult pool side.

Dee is your wedding ceremony before or after the other couple? If it's the latter time I would think they would allow you to have your reception at the gazebo. If your wedding is before the other couple (assuming they are using the gazebo for their ceremony) then I'm not sure that you'd be able to have the gazebo for your reception.
  10. When it came down to the last rose between Vienna and Corrie I was sooo hoping the spoilers weren't going to be true. I can't wait to see the hometown visits...especially Vienna's so that we can she where her "wonkiness" (haha, Heather) comes from.
  11. Yay! It looks fabulous on you! I wore the same dress. Hooray for dress twins!
  12. Congrats Lisa! Thanks for sharing your awesome review. You were a beautiful bride!!

Are those different than the honeymoon suites?! $1000/night is alot. Also you are travelling in the "winter" so I think the room rates during your time of year are higher.
  14. I like #1! Are they comfortable though? I think the thin part at the toe might hurt after wearing them for a while.
  15. Fabulous pics, you two looked so happy! I love the ones with you and your husband by the rocks. Thanks for sharing!

This was a quote I saved from an old post. Did anyone ask for an upgrade instead of the room for the groom? That was me. So yep, we asked for an upgrade! Our TA booked us a marina view but we asked for the upgrade in place of the groom's room and they put us in ocean view.
  17. Hey Dee! If you can get an ocean view room I say go for it. The views to the ocean are really pretty. As far as spa prices I posted the spa menu in a prior post. You can click on "Search this thread" and search for spa menu or something like that. It should pop up! Good luck! Update: I just looked it up. Post #856.
