So last night I said that even though he was in a good, happy mood I was still suspicious that something was wrong. And I was right! He's worried that I'm getting too panicked over little details which was what we wanted to avoid by having a DW in the first place. He knows I can get to the point of practically being sick with anxiety so he's promised now to help more so that I don't feel so stressed! What a guy!! Awww Meghan!! It's hard not to stress, at this point I'm sure you guys just want to get to Mexico!! Once you get there you'll feel alot better. Don't stress girl - your wedding is going to be the best day ever!! 2. I watched last night. This season's celebrities have a diverse background so it'll definitely keep things interesting. However, I probably watch the show more for the "non-celebrity" dancers (Derek, Louis, and Maksim - they are HOT!!)
  3. You can use credit cards if you want to, all the charges go to your room bill.

There is no extra fee to have the reception by the lagoon. I had mine by the lagoon because it was pretty much private. I didn't notice an algae smell but then again, I was married almost a year ago and things can change.
  5. I'm excited to join you ladies! I ordered P90X last night, so hopefully it will be here soon. I've noticed lately that my clothes are a little tighter on me..and I'm not going to blame it on the crappy dryer I have in my apartment. I haven't been great at working out on a regular basis since my wedding so hopefully this will help me out !! I'll post my goals when I get the package!

  7. Not sure if poolside is the same thing as the lagoon. The lagoon could be referred to as the "natural pool". But not sure if thats what you're talking about Also if poolside is different, are they referring to the adult pool or the main pool? I didn't have the option for "poolside" last summer. I probably just confused you ladies more... sorry!! But if any of the recent brides have the answer, that would help
  8. Exactly! That's why I went with a silk flower. It was good to have because I ended up wearing it again for my AHR.

I think you can get a flower (a real one), but you'd probably have to tell the WC ahead of time so that she can order one from the florist. The florist is not onsite. I'm not sure how far they come from but they would deliver your bouquets and stuff the morning of your wedding day.
  10. You look great in both but I love the satin one on you more. Is that a Maggie? It accentuates your tiny waist!! Good luck with your decision

Your ttd session was awesome too. Did you use the resort videographer, and if so how was the DVD? What time of day did you get married? Our ceremony is at 5 p.m. and dinner at 7. Where did you have your reception? Aw, thanks I used the resort videographer (video wasn't as important to me as pictures). The DVD was ok, a little hard to hear the ceremony because of the wind. I got married at 3pm because there was another brideon my day. Dinner was at 430 and my reception was outside by the lagoon. I wrote up a full review in the reviews section
  12. I used Sascha. There are tons of great photographers out there. If you do a search there is a thread somewhere that lists out a bunch of photographers in the Riveria Maya. I didn't do a hair trail. I brought an inspiration picture and the lady (can't remember her name) followed it. As she went along she kept making sure that she was doing it the way I wanted. No need to worry!
  13. Congrats and welcome! I got married at DPA last year. Please jump in on the DPA thread!!! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...st-here-27596/
  14. It was quite a stunning dress!! I felt bad that she had to stand out in the rain with it!
  15. Such great pictures Dee!!! You were a beautiful bride. The weather looked amazing!

That's just my assumption though so maybe someone else can confirm!? Rehearsal is a formal practice run. I didn't do one. Unless you have a huge wedding party I honestly don't think you'd need a formal ceremony "run-through". A few days before my wedding we sat down with Sandra and went through every detail...which made me feel comfortable enough that I didn't want/need a formal rehearsal. Just my two cents
  17. Thanks for starting this thread! DH and I actually just booked our flights to Napa for our 1 year anniversay in a few months. Haven't booked a B&B yet. Keep the recommendations coming ladies!
  18. Rozlyn was totally lying last night. I can't believe she was denying everything the other girls were saying! I applaud Chris for telling her that he hope she learned a lesson. Can't wait for next week's show!
  19. Have a blast Dee and Janna! You'll have wonderful weddings. DPA takes care of you. Enjoy!!!!
