  1. Natasha I'm doing the classic version. My body can use some toning up. I'm on the recovery week (Week 4) of classic and I'm feeling good!!

Are you absolutely set on having your wedding day on a Saturday? That's weird about the 6pm wedding. I haven't heard of that before. I feel like the rules change with each bride at DPA.

DH did it with me for Day 1 but unfortunately he's away at grad school so I've been doing it on my own. It keeps me busy while he's away I guess! Has anyone been able to master the Crane move in yoga? Any tips?
  4. Welcome to the DPA thread m&d! Unfortunately I don't have the direct email other than the generic one. Hopefully you will hear back soon!
  5. I think you should take your real rings. You shouldn't worry too much as long as they fit right. I wore my e-ring (and wedding band after the wedding) the whole time I was in Mexico and they never came off. I went swimming, snorkeling, rappelling, ziplining, and swimming with the dolphins and they didn't budge. Also if your room has a safe you can leave them in there or have some less-active family members hold on to your ring while you are in the ocean
  6. The Maggie is just gorgeous on you. Can't really see the other one. Good luck with your decision!
  7. HAHAHA you ladies crap me up! I like it when he talks about all the girls and calls them "Gorgeous, just gorgeous!". Congrats on the weight loss Autumn. Hooray!
  8. My wedding was in June and we needed the wind. The heat would have been unbearable for my guests it if it weren't for the wind. It was very windy at my wedding but none of my guests complained. I wore a fingertip length veil that blew in my face during the ceremony...but my MOH caught it and tucked it into the back of my strapless dress (we got some funny pictures of that part). Also post-ceremony we took some shots with my veil in the wind...love them. Like others were saying, I think you shouldn't let the wind bother you and just enjoy the beautiful scenes around you!
  9. It is soooo nice to hear success stories! Keeps me motivated! I have to admit though, Tony Horton sure starts getting annoying after a while. I'm starting to cringe every time we do the stirrers and he talks about soup!
  10. Looks like Aiden got the boot tonight. Kate did do a little better this week, but she looked SO bored!! Show some emotion lady!
  11. Lisa - 4 weeks is awesome! Congrats on what you've done thus far! Don't be discouraged...just keep it up and you will see results in no time If I remember what I read in the booklet correctly, the first phase (Weeks 1-4) is all about getting your body used to the workout and getting through them. I'm in the middle of Week 3 now. I haven't lost any weight but I'm definitely feeling stronger and a bit firmer. I've been increasing my weights and reps this week.
  12. I wore my engagement ring the whole week I was there. It didn't budge at all.
  13. I thought the dances last night were just eh. Towards the end I switched to the basketball game so I didn't see everyone. I'm sure they will recap tonight though!

Desires would be my 2nd choice
  15. What do you have to do for the Insanity fit test? I'm only on Week 2 of P90X and I've been able to keep up with it so far. I pop it in when I get home from work...I look forward to the stress relief. So far I think the chocolate milk works! I still wake up sore (which is a good thing) the next morning but I really do think it is saving me from complete misery. I mix approx 4 tablespoons of Ovaltine powder in 8oz of skim milk after my workouts.
  16. Wow, I guess Shannen just doesn't have much of a fan base anymore. I was hoping Kate would be gone. Grrrr
  17. I didn't see the results show yesterday. Does anyone know who got the boot?
  18. So I did yoga for the first time yesterday. Going into it I thought it would be a little easier since I am somewhat flexible, but holy moly!! I was toppling all over the place. Hopefully after a few weeks I'll be able to hold my legs up as high as some of those people in that standing split!

I'm going to see how I do these first few weeks with using chocolate milk (I hear it's actually a good recovery drink). If not I'll buy the p90x formula.
  20. Got my DVDs earlier this week! I start today! Goal: Tone up Start date: 3/27/10 Plan: Classic workout plan and follow the Fat Shredder and Energy Booster diets Does anyone drink the Recovery Formula?
