Did you see Kayne West at the MTV awards?

Poor Taylor Swift, she is quoted in this article saying, ""I was standing on the stage and I was really excited because I had just won the award," Swift said after Sunday's show at Radio City Music Hall. "And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on the stage. And then I wasn't so excited anymore after that." VMA chaos, as usual: Kanye decries Swift win, Jackson honored, 'Twilight' stars make a cameo -- chicagotribune.com Aww her response just reminds me how young she is! She's just a teenager. Kanye is a total douche. This is the THIRD time he's done something like this. One time, ok, maybe you got caught up int he heat of the moment or something. 2 times? Jerk behavior. 3 times? You and you ego should just take up residence in Antartica so you two can be alone. -
Thanks for the compliments ladies. I went in for another hair trial with my hair down and it came out great! I bought some clip in extensions to add some length in the back and she cut a few layers around my face. (I had let mine grown out.) We then put lost of curls in it. My FI still thinks I should just wear my hair straight since that's how he likes it best but no straight plain hair for the wedding day. If it's doing to be down, I at least want some curls. I will post pics soon!

I didn't see pics of each which would really be helpful... what did you all order and how did they fit? Thanks a million!! -katie We ordered the semi-baggy since FI has HUGE thighs and he needs a little more room. -
Custom Linen Suits $99!
FoxyBride replied to FoxyBride's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I'm happy to report that we sucessfully ordered 16 suits from this company! We had some slight problems with some of our groomsmen just GUESSING at their measurements or waiting until the last minute to order but I found customer support to be very responsive and they rushed 3 different orders to make sure that we had them in time for the wedding. I cannot stress enough to measure twice! Accurate measurements are key! They also ran out of the particular color fabric we all wanted the groomsmen to wear because they waited until the last minute to order so also be mindful of this. We ordered whatever was closest but there will be some slight variation. Oh well. I think it will look fine at this point. -

Anyone have about 20 luggage tag loops they'd be willing to part with? I'm looking for this kind.

I REALLY thought she had a girl by the name. Then I went on to read the posts and noticed someone said it was a boy! It's WAY too feminine even with the James. I was thinking that they threw James in there as a tribute to some family member. I don't like it at all.

Some people mentioned how having so many kids is affecting her body and this article explains it. Are some women superbreeders? - The Body Odd - msnbc.com It says that basically, it isn't doing much harm.

Yea my pups are pits too and they are banned in a lot of cities around Cleveland (where FI lives). When we take them to the dog park out there some people get all uptight and I'm like, this is the dog that cuddles with a teddy bear and never barks, are you serious? Pits are pleasers, so they'll do whatever you tell them to repeatedly. So if you are encouraging them to fight and growl, they'll keep doing it. I encourage mine to play with other dogs and run out their energy, so that's what they do. It's TOTALLY the owner that makes or breaks what a pit will be.

Very cute! I DIY'd my own bout as well. Might I suggest taking the floral tape & wrapping the ends of the button "flowers" together? I think that would finish them off just right. Fab job though.

With a destination wedding it's safe to assume that about half of the people you invite won't come. I invited 100 and I have 46 people confirmed.

Now that I've decided to do it down, I don't think it will work. Inspiration pic Hair piece - $45 - Ivory flowers & netting Actual item. With flash No flash. Close-up of jewel.

Post here if you are getting married in Las Vegas

Thanks for all of the advice I'd say Caesars hands down. IMO the MGM is starting to show it's age. There are very few suites that are large enough to fit 75 people. You could try the Stardust Suite at the Orleans, Absolut Suite at Caesars, or the Apex at Planet Hollywood. -
DIY Boutonnieres & Corsages Step-by-Step
FoxyBride replied to FoxyBride's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
You know, I just noticed that some groomsmen are going to have blue flowers on the left and some will have blue flowers on the right of the rose. Eh, oh well. If you're the type of person that would care about something like that though, definitely watch for it while making these so you don't end up re-doing them! -

I was just having a major meltdown yesterday because I went to make an appointment for alterations and the seamstress happened to be there and wanted to see it on me because I have lost so many inches since I last tried it on. The dress literally fell off of me....even with the corset back tied as tight as it would go!! I was devastated because I was afraid that I'd have to get another dress off the rack at this stage of the game (and I really really love MY dress)....HOWEVER, seeing that your dress was able to be brought down 5 dress sizes, I am now able to breathe again (mine will be only have to be taken down 2 dress sizes). I hope that my seamstress will be HALF as good as yours! You look GREAT!!! I also agree with everyone else...your hair down will look awesome! Congrats! I'm sooo glad this helped you! That's one of the reasons I posted the progress from beginning to end because I know a lot of girls have concerns about what can and cannot be done to a dress. I hope your future fittings go well! Definately let us know. I forgot to add that to be so tiny I'm kinda boobalicious (32DD/DDD) so the top actually didn't need to be taken in a lot and that's where all the beading is. I'm sure that helped a lot. It also helped me not have cleavage heaping all over the place which I did NOT want. While my family is super used to it ( I started developing in 5th grade!) my FMIL called me "The girl with the fake boobs" when she met me. (They are NOT fake!) so I always try to minimize around her... LOL.
