Hi Ladies, So I am now on my 3rd wedding dress (Also Pronovias!!) which I absolutely adore, but I need to sell my second one. Pronovias is a great designer...It is the Davis dress from the 2008 collection. It is a size 16 but I am a street size 12 and it can be altered down to fit any size. I paid $1500 plus tax for it and I am selling it for only $1000 or best offer. If you're interested let me know! I'm having a difficult time posting a picture but you can visit Pronovias - Vestidos y trajes de novia - Wedding dresses and bridal gowns - grupo and do a style search for Davis under the Pronovias Collection or I can email you a pic. ~Mesita

Does anyone know what their packages start at? Thanks! Mesita

Hi Everyone! I felt the need to tell you all good bye! I have decided to leave the Sensatori and have my wedding at Le Meridien Cancun. You all have been so helpful in helping me plan my wedding. Unfortunately, I can't take the chance of having the most important day of my life ruined! I do think Sensatori looks gorgeous and I am sure the issues will be worked out and you guys will have fabulous weddings. It's just going to take some time before their service issues are resolved and since I still had the option to move my wedding I am doing so. I actually work for Starwood Hotels so in the end Le Meridien works out better for me and I am 100% confident that they will produce the wedding of my dreams. I'm totally addicted to this thread so I'll be checking it from time to time just to get ideas! Farewell for now! Mesita

How many guests are you planning on having? Hi Lindsey, Can you send me any information you have as well?? Thanks! Mesita -

I wish all of my friends and family were going but everyone is complaining about money. What is Polina doing for her reception and how many guest will she have?

Nikki, I would suggest having dinner in Spoons and then to cut down on cost have a private "dessert" reception. They have an option where you can get a chocolate fountain and then maybe you can order a wedding cake. Have an IPOD to play music and just have fun! I agree with you all on that trip advisor review. I can deal with everything else, but I will be very upset if the water issue is not resolved. Mesita

Hi Tiffany, Thanks so much for the email. I look forward to working with you! I have been working on some plans for our wedding, here is what I have so far and any questions…plus I’ll need to get some costs from you on some things too please: · Ceremony at 3pm…how long does this generally last? We’d like enough time to have the ceremony, then have pictures taken before moving to the cocktail reception before dinner. · Ceremony on the beach…I would like the beach set up please, decorated with teal and lavender coloured fabric…please see photo below for inspiration. · For the chairs, I would like the white covered chairs with teal bows tied around in the same gauzy fabric as on the gazebo. · After the ceremony will there be a bar available for the guests to have some cocktails before dinner and while we get some photos taken? · We would like to have a Mariachi band play for about an hour before dinner. · We would like our dinner set up on the beach please. · For the dinner, I am wondering how many entrées we can allow our guests to choose from? I was hoping to offer one seafood, one meat, and one vegetarian. · Is wine with dinner included? · During dinner, are we able to play a video on a screen? · Our after dinner reception/dance I would also like on the beach…I have attached a picture of the type of set-up I would like, but using my colour palette. We would also like some stand-up tables around the area, and a small dance floor set up. Tiki torches and candles also. · I will not need a DJ, we will be bringing our iPod of our songs, but will need the set-up for that. · I will decide on flowers closer to the day. We are bringing our own photographer…he is my cousin and will be a guest for the week at the resort with us. Nancy had said this is fine. Can you please send me cake samples? I have the flower options. Also the wine/champagne list please. I would like to reserve the special bridal suite in the spa for the day of the wedding…how do I go about this? We are expecting between 40-50 guests with most, if not all, staying at the resort. For our welcome dinner, can we use the one offered in the wedding package (SILVER)? And if so, what does that include / not include? We are thinking of having the Mexican Fiesta Cocktail Party for our guests perhaps before the welcome dinner at the restaurant. Is there music included with this since it’s a cocktail party, or can you arrange for it? Where on the property would you recommend having this? Can you please send me the prices for everything, based on 46 people please so I can work out the budget. Thanks so much for your time, I really look forward to hearing from you! Can you please email me her response at [email protected]? Thanks!

Hi Polina, The same thing happened with me. I originally wanted to use Mexican Wedding Photos and she did not ask for a deposit. She told me that my date was reserved and to just stay in contact with the onsite wedding coordinator. I think they just add it to your final bill that has to be paid before the wedding. Mesita

Good morning! So last night I listened to a very good webinar on Destination Weddings at Karisma Resorts. It was basically a broad overview of all of their resorts but since the moderator knew I was getting married at Sensatori she spent a lot of time talking about the resort. For all you November brides she guaranteed that the resort would be opening by November 1st. I got to ask a few questions pertaining to my wedding but there was no real information given that we didn't already know. She just kept talking about how fabulous the bridal suite will be in the spa and how beautiful the honeymoon suites are. In the spa the bride will have her own luxurious chair where you won't have to move. You will get pampered like crazy. They will do your manicure, pedicure and make-up in the chair and it also lays flat so they can give you a massage. They will bring strawberries and champagne to you and your bridal party while everyone is getting ready. They will also have a mannekin(did I spell that right??) that they will put your dress on so you can pretty much stare at it the whole time. You will be able to walk out of the spa completely dressed and ready to go straight to your wedding ceremony. That was pretty much my favorite part of the call...she talked about other things but like I said before we already know it all. I'm doing the Sky Deck package and she talked about how beautiful that will be as well. Hope this helps someone!!

Planning a wedding in a different country is pretty difficult. Have you booked a photographer yet? Are you going there for a site visit? Yes, I'm a little stressed but I pretty sure everything will be fabulous! I'm not going on a site visit so I'm very anxious to hear everyone's feedback. I have a photographer hear in Atlanta that I would love to bring with me, but I hate the resorts rules. I've also been looking into Mexican Wedding Photos but I'm not sure yet. What about you?
