Ladies it seems to me the bride on the trip advisor forum was a complainer. Some people can always find something to complain about. We all chose Jamaica for a reason...having been there 4 times myself you have to expect that things will run on "island time" and eveything is "no problem mon"...sit back, relax and enjoy your time there...everything will be beautiful after all we are all marrying the one we love...you and your guests will be on a beautiful island and i'm sure all in all everything will be fine

I'm getting married in july and I chose the 12pm time slot because it usually rains later in the afternoon and i really want to get married on the beach and would be upset if we had to move it inside...but you can't control the weather so you should pick the slot you want and hope for the best!

i don't think there is anyone on here yet who had their wedding...i believe Indigo is the first...so we will have to wait and see

Hi all July 09 Brides, I'm getting married July 11, 2009 at the RIU Montego Bay in Jamaica So far we have: ~Booked our site ~Got my dress ~Set up our wedding website ~Got a travel agent ~Sent out Save the Dates I think I'm far behind but this Sat. is our engagement/at home celebration so I wave been busy doing stuff for that...once that's over then I can kick the wedding stuff into high gear!!

yea i'm leaning toward the free steak house too...though i would LOVE LOVE LOVE a beach reception but i can't rationalize spending all the money

What is everyone planning on doing for their reception? Are you going to do the dinner at the steak house or a private reception on the beach or confrence room? I would love to do the private beach reception but i don't know it it's worth it to pay the extra money...what do you all think?
