Hi everyone!!! Sorry to change the subject, but I just needed to share my excitement with someone!! My fiance & I have purchased our first home! I can't wait to move in and have a place of our own. We move in March 1st!

Hey Christina, That's so frustrating!!! Hopefully you can get everything worked out. Do you already have your inviations printed?? That would suck to have to go back and change those with the new date. Our travel agent says that we should have our flight schedules in February... but I'm so worried they're not going to fly when we need them to, like the weekend before our wedding, and we'll end up leaving Calgary too close to the wedding or like yours was, the day of! I'm terrified, because I don't even know if I could switch our wedding day, because our resort is pretty booked up... Oh the stress... lol...I'm trying not to be stressed yet, and just hope for the best! Cara

I agree I really dislike the bridal shows now, probably because I have most planned out and just need little things that they don't supply because they don't have much for a DW. Also, I have to disagree about the bride sticker! I hate it!!! I actually chose not to wear my bride sticker last year because then you can browse without being harassed at every single booth. As soon as they see that bride sticker they're all over you, practically running after you. haha Ok I'm exaggerating, but it's nice to just look around and talk to the vendors that you want to talk to.

I agree!! We all need to plan to get together soon. Maybe for drinks or a coffee?

UGH I am so frustrated - we are travelling through Signature vacations and they are just trying to get all of their flights organized for their summer brochure, but they keep telling me it'll be out "next month", "next month". So they told me before Christmas they'd have it in January, so I just got my travel agent to check with them on the flight schedule and they said, "next month possibly"..... really!?!?! Our guests are waiting to find out when they should book their time off from work. They know we'll be going sometime within the week of May 14th, most likely Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, but we're not sure yet. So they keep asking us when we're leaving. And our invitations are waiting on the flight schedule so we can put that info in there, and our photographer is asking if we can do our TTD session on the 16th instead of the day after our wedding the 15th, which I can't answer because I don't know what day we will be flying home.... I just needed to vent because it feels like I can't move forward until I get this information!

This is so true, we all need to cherish every moment we have and not sweat the small stuff. I am so so so sorry to hear about your friend. My thoughts are with you and we are here if you need to talk. Just like kerrij said, your post was inspiring even though it was upsetting. Cara

Good morning ladies!!! Just wanted to say hello, and see if everyone's done their Christmas shopping It's almost here!!!! I finally got mine done on Monday night. But now I'm scrambling to make my "Make it gift", it's a tradition that my family does every year, where we draw names and you have to make a gift for that person. It's very fun, but also stressful. lol I haven't really had a chance to just sit back and enjoy the fact that it's Christmas, it came up so fast!!!! Hi! I have had lots of contact with the WC, I was assigned Gabriela and she has been great, and she responds to my emails pretty quickly, sometimes it takes her a few weeks but i'm not in a rush.
