Krissy - I bought the decks of cards from Wedding Dresses - Wedding Cakes - Wedding Planning - Unique Wedding Ideas - By TheKnot.com. I think they were $2.50 a deck. They allow you to choose your own bridal logo on the cards with your initials, etc. The only drawback is that the box to the decks of cards comes blank...plain white. So I purhased these 2x3 stickers and placed them on the covers. They look great. ONLY 20 MORE DAYS BEFORE WE LEAVE FOR JAMAICA!!! YAYYYY!!!!

Nice thanks for the info. I just put my bags together this weekend. I put a first aid kit (99 cents from target), 2 packs of Advil, 2 packs of shout wipes, tissues, personalized deck of cards, 2 travel size spf lotions and 1 spf lip balm. Wheww I hope people use this stuff.

Maida, Congrats again. I'm so happy that you'll be in JA tomorrow! I'm right behind you about 45 more days for me. I swear we have the same taste. I did alot of similar stuff as you did. I got my girls Tiffany's Star Fish necklaces. I love your dress...it looks amazing on you. I would love to post pictures of all of my projects, etc...but girl I just don't have the time. Wow Maida...just 2 weeks away? That's so great. I hope you have a wonderful time at Coyaba and have a beautiful wedding. Please make sure to post some pictures for us to see. And to all the other Coyaba Brides, good luck soon enough your "big" day will be upon you. Only 56 more days for me!!! I went with the flower centerpieces from Sandra at the Flower Studio. I told her what I wanted to spend on each table and she sent me some photos of pieces that will work nicely. I intially was gonna to do a Glass Container filled with sand, sea shells, star fish and a candle. But, I really want to limit the amount of stuff in my suit cases. Talk to you girls soon! Dana

Thanks Angie for your reply. Don't feel too bad about your bouquet mine is costing $400. I'm doing green cybidium orchids with white cala lillies. And we have a 10 person bridal party. I'm definetly going to bring down my own petals for the aisle and petal toss. This wedding is starting to really add up. I just filled out the function report for JoAnne and I'm praying more people don't decide to come. We have 45 and I'll die if we get 60 or over. I can't afford table and chair rentals too. Oh yet another question for you how were the regular meals like breakfast and lunch served? Did everyone get to order off a menu or was it buffet style? I just know people are going to eat in waves. Another important question. When u went to the court there did they give you any type of copy of your license? We're having a church ceremony in my town the week after we get back and the priest needs a copy of whatever the jamaican court provides. Thanks for replying. Dana

Hello...I have a couple of questions for Angie. I know your wedding is over so I hope I'm not being a pest. Although I know you rented the tent at the Coyaba. Did you also rent the dance floor? If so, do you remember what the cost was and if it's a necessity? Also, i'm sure you used Sandra for your flowers? Were you satisfied with the boquets? They sure aren't cheap. Thanks so much!!!! Maida you did ask some questions that I have had on my mind as well...so thanks! This question is to any of the brides who have gotten married already at Coyaba...How is the mood during the day at the resort - Since they do not play music by the pool or beach? When I visited, Gabi told me they try to keep the mood serine and relaxing. Did you notice the silence or was everyone in your group content without the music in the background? Also, did you arrange for activities during the day?

How nice!!! When is your wedding? When I booked the honeymoon the guy said there was a wedding who basically took the whole resort and only suites and hotel rooms were left. Good Luck with everything!

OMG...First off CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Your post just gave me chills. Sounds like everything work out wonderful for you. Every suggestion you made: The tent, the all inclusive and the reggae band was exactly my plan - so you just reassured me BIG time. We have 8 months to go...but feels like forever! Hey - we stayed at the Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay this past May. We also visited the Sandals Negril and received the same feeling. It's really hit or miss. You will have some exceptional people who work there who treat you good but then some of them of noticably miserable. But, it's your honeymoon - I'm sure you will have a great time.

Girls - I need an answer to this Marriage License question. Since we're all getting married at the same place I hope you'll know. Besides getting married at Coyaba next year...Shortly after we return we would like to get married at our church. Should we apply for our New York marriage license and just ignore the license we get from Coyaba? I'm so confused. Please help!
