OMG OMG OMG!!! Our flight leaves in less than 9 hours! Woah--- I'm totally too calm right now. I need to go to bed so I can have a clear head when I rush out of the house in the morning. I didn't get my Welcome Letter/Itinerary finished but I've emailed my mom and hopefully she can do it for me... Other than that, I'm pretty sure I've got it all under control. (still a little nervous about the music factor though) Well, I'll try to get on while I'm there but if not- I'll have lots of pics to show! We leave in 2 days!!! I'm starting to feel totally overwhelmed! I pick up my dress tonight so worse case scenario, if it's ruined, I can try to find one tomorrow. That surely won't happen..... I'm drawing a total blank on the Welcome Letters for the OOT bags and every template I try to open from the DIY forum, is saying I don't have enough points!!! Ahhh... I need to start packing and get our house/animals ready to have our pet sitter/friend come over. Originally I had planned to work all day today and tomorrow but I'm going to take a half day tomorrow so I can go get my nails/toes/eyebrows done. It just doesn't even seem real. I think that's why I'm procrastinating even more than usual. I'm stuck in a fog just frozen- like my brain is turned off. (it is Monday though!) Anyone else feeling like this? I know there is so much for me to do but I just can't seem to just DO IT! Help!

I think that Old Lahaina Lua or Kimo's would be amazing!! We went to both while on vacation and had a great time. The food is incredible! Congrats- Enjoy!

Okay- finally with less than a week before we leave, have I started to cross things off my list. -printed off, cut out and applied monogrammed stickers to the OOT bags (pretty cute!) -dress is being minorly altered (ready on monday- we leave on wed!) -have pretty good idea of music FMIL still doesn't have her trip booked!!!!!! Seriously- WTF?! I've been promised that it will actually happen tomorrow. We shall see!! At this point, I could care less but I know it would make FI happy. SO- still need to get nails/toes done, waxed, fake lashes put on, tan a few more times.. pack..oh, and loose that last 10 freaking #$%*& pounds that refuse to come off!! I hear you all on the clueless FI's.. Mine actually had the nerve to bitch at me for spending $150 at Target today. I feel like I drop that much everytime I turn around these days! JUST GO WITH THE FREAKING FLOW!!!! Okay- I'm done (for now!). Hang in there ladies- we're almost there! Just try not to kill anyone!!! =)

Congrats Mrs. Boynton & Mrs. Birrenkott! How fun and exciting!!! Kelly- sorry you're sick. I'm sure that's frustrating but try to relax so you can get better fast. I'm taking some antibiotics just in case! The only dent I put in my never ending to-do list was to tan.. Hopefully I can get EVERYTHING done Thursday and Friday. (big sigh..) Oh wow- now that Christmas is over (Merry Belated Christmas Everyone!!) and it's soon going to be January, I'm starting to feel major anxiety!! But we're back from my parents after a long 5 days with no wedding planning so it's time to get on the ball. We did go to my cousin's wedding on Saturday and I made sure FI paid close attention!! I swear- he acts like he's never been to a wedding! What would he do without me--- hee hee I feel so sad about the forum too- like we're all moving away! Boooo...... Good luck to everyone who's leaving in the next week!! How exciting! 2009 is going to be a FABULOUS year!!! My to-do list is getting longer and longer it seems. I took off Friday so I could have a 4 day weekend to get stuff done- FI even took off! My batchelorette party is Saturday! (course I'm basically having to plan it myself since my friends suddenly suck!) MIL still hasn't booked along with my best friend...ARGH!!! Seriously- what's the issue?! Although at this point, I'd be relieved if MIL didn't come. (whoops- did I say that?!!) FI and I have jumped back on the working out/dieting band wagon after a VERY fattening holiday! No drinking or eating bad until we leave- except of course for New Year's Eve and batchelorette/batchelor parties!! OHHH- question for everyone- is anyone worried about getting tan lines once they get there, before the wedding?? Am I being totally anal?! Kelly- I totally hear ya on the freaking out stage. It's definitely here!! I haven't been pregnant before but I totally think that 'wedding brain' is worse than 'pregnancy brain'! At work I've turned into this ditzy dummy that can't finish a sentence. FI's are worthless at this point as well as everyone else. It's like they're all focused on THEIR vacation instead of the reason WHY they're going on vacation. Emotion breakdowns have become a weekly occurence for me.. I haven't tried my dress on since I got it- and I'm putting it off like the plague for whatever reason. Not sure what I'm doing with my hair....future MIL hasn't even booked her trip yet and I still don't know what music we're playing. It's almost to the point where I just don't even care! Christmas has been a nice distraction though. Once this weekend is over, it's go time!!! I've got to just get it done. What's everyone doing for gifts to the parents?

updates!: -got marriage license today! legal day on december 30!!! Is anyone getting legally married at their destination? We are.. What's up with getting the marriage license and doing it legally here? Is that easier? Crap- I hope this isn't one more thing I have to do..

I was told that they wouldn't accept emailed documents and that the only option was to mail them. I spent $50 sending them UPS.. That stinks!

Okay I feel totally guilty for not getting on this thread in a while. I get so caught up in my destinations thread (Jamaica) that I forget to check this one. It's sooo nice to have January brides to 'talk' to! So here's what I've done so far- which I sort of got a late start and am still a little behind. -Sent our wedding documents to the wedding coordinator -Have our attire (FI's wearing shorts- but nice ones!!) -Have our rings- but am considering engraving them (any thoughts?) -Since we didn't do invitations or save the dates, we ordered Christmas cards that double as announcements (they say- Becky and Andy- to be married 1/17/09) -Ordered the following for the OOT bags: dolphin bottle openers, starfish wine stoppers, flip flop shapped playing cards, sun block, asprin and drink mixes- little packets that say 'the perfect mix- andy & becky 1/17/09', cosmo's, just add vodka and water. ***still need to order the bags and disposable cameras and once we're in jamaica we're going to get some local things to throw in. we still need to do a 'welcome letter' and the game instructions- we're going to do the camera game and either a poker run or scavenger hunt the 'would be rehearsal dinner' night. *We still need to pick out our music and excursions, and figure out my jewelery/hair/make-up/shoes/underwear (spanx?). I'm sure there's a million other things I've forgotten at the moment! Am I forgetting anything major?! Yikes- that's my fear... Forgetting something. But it's all coming together slowly but surely. The main thing I'm stressing about is the music. I'm totally lost.. Not a clue what we're going to do. Ah! Anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed- especially this time of year?! This cold weather is making me even more excited to be in the Caribbean!!!!

American Airlines just cancelled our flights! We saved $500 but had to switch airlines and fly to Miami first instead of the original direct flight. We were bummed about it but happy to save a litte money!
