And Kelly....they do not allow outside photographers, but I've heard of other brides getting around this if you have your photographer stay overnight as your guest. I think this is what we will end up doing...

I actually asked my wedding coordinator about the children policy and she confirmed that yes, they will be allowing children on HALF of the resort. The spa side will still be adults only and children will not be allowed, but adults have access to the entire resort. I was really bummed too, the adults only is one of the main reasons we chose this resort...but I just don't feel like changing everything at this point. It's all booked and payed off...just too much stress to do it all over again. It doesn't seem to be advertised so I'm hoping it will still be fairly quiet kid-wise in July... My WC sent me a letter about it...if you want it PM me and I'll send it to you...

I think it is fine to have white for bridesmaids...although, I went to a wedding recently where they maids wore white and although it looked fine, they were all see-through! You could see their underwear right through the dresses...just make sure your girls wear the right colors underneath and you'll be fine!

I'm having this same issue! Grrrr...FI wants to wear black but I think it's way too hot, and he wants to wear shoes, but I think they should all wear flops...then he says he'll wear whatever I tell him to (haha)....so no progress!

If your a knot member, there was a coupon for half off, so it ended up begin $35 for the year...it doesn't have as many "planning tools" as other sites, but we didn't need that...we just wanted something where guests could go for information. I actually did a free trial at 5 or 6 places (most offer 1-2 weeks free) to try them out to see which one I liked best and decided on wedorama. We are planning a backyard BBQ for when we get back...very casual! I'm not wearing my wedding dress...but was hoping to find a cute white sundress and maybe even wear a bathing suit underneath... We are doing grill foods and salads and having a keg and wine...other than that it will be BYOB... My favorite part is the games...we are planning all sorts of "bride vs. groom" events for the day...so far we have volleyball, wiffle-ball, and badminton tournaments...and are also thinking about adding a balloon toss or something else fun... We want to keep it casual and fun! My only dilemma is what to do if it rains...thinking of adding a rain date to the invite (a week later?) but wasn't sure if that was tacky for a wedding related event...we plan to have about 80 people attend...haven't set the date yet, but it will be a few weeks after we return from Mexico.
