This will also probably be our last big international trip as we will also be trying for a family soon as my time is ticking so they say hahahah. where are you guys staying in hawaii? I'm not sure where we're staying in Hawaii yet because my bestfriend who lives there now can't decide between Oahu or the Big Island to have her wedding...so we're still waiting on her decision. I hope she has it on the Big Island because I would rather stay there than Oahu. Yes, it will be harder to travel once you have kids...that's why we have to travel now! lol.

I couldn't convince my husband to fly that far to the Maldives...but its ok cuz i love Bora Bora too. As long as i get to go to one of these beautiful islands i'm happy! i wish i had taken a quick to trip to Mauritius while i was in South Africa. I don't think we'll get to travel much after next year cuz we plan to start a family. We're also going to Hawaii next November so he says I'm pushing it with the travels. i just love to travel!! Any reason why you are thinking of the Intercon in Moorea? Thanks so much for the info! I will private msg you my email so you can show me some pics. You are sooo lucky to be able to afford 10 nights in Moorea and 10 nights in Bora Bora!!! We're only staying in Bora Bora cuz we're only going for a week. I'm only going there because i love tropical places and Bora Bora is so exotic and i love the scenery and different shades of blue... We're staying at the Intercontinental Thalasso and the St. Regis in Bora Bora and have halfboard included daily for both resorts. I'm really looking forward to the canoe breakfast!

Hi Kamilla, We're planning to spend a few days in LA too before heading to Bora Bora. We're only staying in Bora Bora because I think its so beautiful that we might as well spend our whole time there. I couldn't decide on a resort so I decided to pick two. I knew I had to stay at the InterContinental Thalasso but we got a great deal for the St. Regis so we're staying there too. Four Seasons is also really nice. Please share pictures if you decide to stay there. When are you guys planning to go? We're going the end of next June.

Plus we had a beach wedding so I didn't need to get them anything too formal. Seriously, if you know that its something that they will just wear once anyway...you should look at Forever21. The dresses I got for my bridesmaids looks like other dresses I've seen on other bridesmaids but waaaay cheaper!!
  11. Hey ladies! Thanks so much!!! Here are the answers to some of your questions: 1. Where did i get my TTD? To be honest, I was stressing out big time about finding a dress for our TTD. I spent so much money on my wedding dress that my fiance made me feel bad spending $400 or $500 for a BCBG dress I wanted (just to trash)...so after searching high and low for one that would fit my budget I took a risk and ordered it from Victoria's Secret. I think i got the dress 2 weeks before our wedding trip so I was sooo happy it fit! For about $100 US i didn't feel bad one bit trashing it. 2. Where was the TTD location? It wasn't at Dreams Tulum beach but it was still at Tulum beach (more south, closer to the ruins and the boutique hotels/bungalows.
  12. I didn't actually trash my wedding dress because I had to wear it again at home for our reception but I still got to trash a dress! Our photographer was Vincent from Del Sol Photography. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone. He is amazing!!! 06.26.09 Yean and Kyle | Trash the Dress | Photos by Vincent ENJOY!

Melissa just send us the link to the slideshow on their website. My wedding was before yours so I'm sure you will get your link soon to your slideshow.

Hope that helps!

Simistar recently posted a really bad review of Micheal Maurus of Cancun Wedding Photography and you will see what can happen with sunset pictures (very dark background). So while a later wedding might mean less conflict with other weddings, make sure your photographer knows how to handle that specific lighting. That's true Sunbride. I did look into what time the sun sets at this time of the year and its around 7:30pm. I picked 6pm when the sun was low but it wasn't dark. All the pictures I have right now were taken from our own digital cameras with no flash and it was still bright. You just have to make sure you know what time the sun sets before you pick your timeframe. I think it sets earlier around the January so I wouldn't recommend 6pm. Thanks for clarifying that Sunbride.

Landy was just amazing to me (as was everyone there!) and she just made all of my dreams come true. I want to thank everyone on this forum ... I honestly couldn't (or wouldn't) have done this without all of you. I will start writing my review this weekend and get some photos put up too. If anyone has any questions please let me know and I'll be happy to answer for you. *huGs* Suzanne 050.JPG[/img] Suzanne, I'm so happy for you that you got amazing weather for your wedding day!!! Your dream wedding came true! For other brides that had negative experiences because of the wedding factory...so sorry to hear that. I actually didn't notice any other weddings on my wedding day because my wedding was the last one. It was at 6pm. 6pm was recommended by my photographer because its the best time for pictures. For future brides...look into booking your wedding last. I didn't notice other weddings because I was busy getting ready for my own. You don't want to have it at noon with the bright sun shining in your eyes and you're squinting in every picture. Maybe I was just lucky but I didn't notice any one else around... Try not to worry too much because everything always works out in the end...

If you want to see them I can post some up.
