Hey Mrs. Smigs - I'm still waiting for prices from Bahia de Los Suenos - we loved it - it is so amazing! Will keep you updated! Shanny - it is totally safe for Americans on the Volaris shuttle bus. We didn't feel unsafe one bit. There are buses that leave from downtown San Diego and LA and take you right across the border to the airport (no getting off until you get there). When they pick you up after your trip you go and get off the bus - walk through customs, then get back on the bus to go back to San Diego. I was definitely worried at first so I know why they are thinking that way - but my Mexican friends told me that they are only after the police and other drug cartels (as far as the violence) and even that has gone down a lot. If you go during the day on the shuttle bus they will be fine. My friends work in TJ so they go down their daily - they said they wouldn't go at night but in the light of day you are fine - especially if you are on the big bus with all Americans. It was definitely worth the price savings for us! So easy.

I totally understand where you are coming from. My extended family is calling me rude all the time for expecting them to pay to come to a DW - and calling my parents cheap for not paying for all the extended family's flights and hotels. I know how frustrating it is but it still sucks I just tell people that if they don't want to come then don't - I don't need their complaining. I know it is harsh but the negativity is not something I want at my wedding. Good luck!

my friend had these colors and it was gorgeous - not too dark at all. she did add some white in though, with flowers and decor and I think it brightened it up a bit.

I think if you book the junior suite and let them know it is your honeymoon they may upgrade you. I haven't seen either but I've heard of this happening a lot - especially if booked with a TA that the resort does a lot of business with

I've been on both and I really love Princess cruises. I felt the food was a lot better on Princess than on RC - plus I love the being able to dine when you want and not at a certain time with a random group of people. It definitely is not much of the party crowd, but if you want that you can find it on any cruise ship.

Yes I am changing my name to FI's last name. Although for work I am keeping it hyphenated (emails and business cards) since I work in the family business and want to keep that name since it is in our company name.
