    Anyone know anything going on in Cabo for NYE? We're renting a villa with some friends (also hoping to do some site visits ) - and looking for fun things to do, especially on New Years Eve. I'm sure it is going to be crazy - but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

    i love netflix! i just have the $9.99 2 DVD rental which is turned out to be fine. I ship my movie in and the next day they ship me another one - no idea how they get it that fast. I get that movie the day after they ship it - they have been very fast for me - no problems at all. I know blockbuster has similar plans - not sure of the cost difference though.

    The Muse Hotel is great! It's a modern and trendy boutique hotel - they have complimentary wine every night. It is a Kimpton hotel and was not ridiculously expensive like a lot of the hotels in Time Square.

    As far as your FI - hmmm I might try the mall downtown? - it is pretty big - if not you can take the trolley to Fashion Valley mall from downtown - that one is one of my favorites and will have lots of stores for both of you.

    Hey Samantha - as far as downtown - try Pink Zone in the gaslamp - its really inexpensive and has a lot of cute cotton dresses - It's on 5th between J and Island. If you don't mind cabbing it - you will find a lot of stuff in Pacific Beach on Garnet. PB is a bit of a hike though - and our public transportation is not the best - but there are a lot of great cheap beachy boutiques there! Good luck!
