  1. Both are really beautiful dresses; but I think that #2looks better on you!
  2. It looks very cute!! It's very flattering on your face shape! And, I agree with everyone else; as long as you are happy with it. It doesn't matter what any of us think!
  3. I agree with the most everyone's sentiments!! We was actually struggling with the same issue.. we ended up choosing a more cost-effective resort so we can be with our family/friends! For our needs, having a big party for a week with our 'nearest and dearest' is more important than having a more 'posh' resort with perhaps more beautiful/romantic scenery (e.g. for me.. no kids LOL). I am considering adding a few days to our trip and for the last few days after everyone leaves spending a few days at a luxury resort/spa just for honeymoon romance. It's completely up to you!! If you have fallen completely in love with a place and that's where you picture getting married; it is YOUR wedding! People can stay at another more cost-effective resort.. perhaps provide them with information for an alternate less costly resort and your resort of choice so they can decide for themselves.
  4. I also did a lot of research on proper etiquette before even deciding on a DW. There are some more traditional informants that stated that the bride and groom should pay for their bridal party; other more recent sources I found said that there is nothing wrong with the bridal party paying their own way. That all being said, FI and I are paying for everything for the wedding ourselves and really cannot afford to pay for anyone else! We talked to everyone we wanted in our bridal party and our parents before we decided anything... asked them if they would be willing to participate in a DW and make it their summer vacation trip. We were very transparent about the whole process! All of them but one of FI's groomsmen (who we have since realized wasn't half as good of a friend as we thought) and my sister, decided that they would like it and have already placed deposits. I think its up to you and FI what you are comfortable doing.. =)

I told them that they could coordinate with eachother and wear whatever they feel comfortable in... Us brides have enough to worry about without having to dictate what all of our collective mothers wear!!! That being said, if you have a specific color scheme in mind for family, bridal party etc... then let them know that.
  6. How cute!! Thank you so much for sharing!! FH is a online computer gamer.. =) Love the ones with the little computer on them!
  7. It's completely up to his taste!! My FH works with his hands all day; so he wants something simple, unique and durable. We are looking at titanium bands... I am leaving it up to FH to lead me to what he likes; I want him to WANT to wear it. =) And.. I am not sure about the resizing on those. Just make sure that you get FH measured by a good jeweler before you buy the ring if you don't want to worry about resizing. I am sorry I can't help more! Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Hang in there!!!

I have no idea who took the picture, but the second I saw it.. I fell in love with it as we are doing our wedding at sunset on the beach. I ordered it on a website: Save the Date Beach Magnets - Moonlight Glow We ended up ordering 50 of them (2.5 x 4) for $75 including shipping.. which we thought was a pretty good deal in comparison to some of the other prices we have seen. I would highly recommend them so far (we haven't received our magnets yet); they have been very responsive and great with changes.
  10. I am so excited!! After many 'reworks' STD's are done... =) Yippy.. can cross one of a million things off my list of things to do! What do you ladies think?
  11. I like the first ones with no necklace. They have a fabulously vintage feel to them and compliment your dress which is very simple.
  12. What a gorgeous dress; I love it but its a bit out of my dress budget!! Good luck selling it! =)
  13. I love those... how cute!!! And the price can't be beat! I may have to look on Oriental Trading!
  14. So exciting!!! You must be jumping out of your skin that your mom is here to share the first time you put YOUR dress on!!! Can't wait to see the pics!!!
  15. Those came out amazing!!! I actually just got off the phone with Brandi as I am considering using her for my BD pics!! Your pics may have convinced me to use her. They are so incredible. FI is going to loooove them =)
  16. How fun!!! With my fam and friends; that would be great in the OOT bags. Thanks for sharing!
  17. Wow.. I love those! May have to get those for my bridal party or for the invitations.. not sure which. Hmm! Thanks so much for sharing!
  18. I can't tell you if you are making a mistake or not.... If you really think that you will like it; then go for it! Imho, your hair is cute the way it is! I can share my personal experience though.. bf I got engaged; I got the same hair cut u want (exact) and darkened my hair. I loved it for a month or so... now, its a lot of upkeep. Now, I am desperately trying to grow it out (bangs and short hair) and its a tough road!!! My hair constantly looks terrible; I have to keep it up all the time. I personally am not wearing a veil and I can't picture myself without a veil and with short hair on my wedding day. Alas, I wait for it to grow... Either way, you have such a cute face - you will make a gorgeous bride! And worse case scenario, if you cut it and don't like it as your day get closer - get hair extensions!
  19. Absolutely beautiful!! I love the details on your dress! Fh's suit is fantastic!
  20. OMG! I have never heard of that site; but the price is perfect and your selections are adorable!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
