  4. I love number one personally... It is stunning! But its hard to say without seeing them both on you. I know from personal experience; some dresses I loved in pics then when I tried them on they didn't look half as good as I thought!
  5. I agree with everyone else!! Super cute and I love the sash.. Very nice choice; you look great!
  6. Hmmm.. First would need to know what your dress looks like. Without knowing the total 'look'.. I would at first thought say that veil at the nape/under the flowers would be best. Or a very sheer veil over the whole thing may not be bad. Like I said, depends on the dress and total look.
  7. I love the half up half down with the curls; especially with that dress.. Earrings... I personally like #2 better but think that #1 will go better with the dress and the hair half up/half down.
  8. Inspired!! Very cute idea.. I am sure that FI and everyone else will love it!
  9. Oh.. sorry and welcome Glamourina!! And, I booked our flights yesterday! Yippy!!!!

I want to do one, but.... Personally, I am sending STD's with flyers detailing everything. Then I am sending invites to only those that book by the time I want to send invites (most likely a month or two bf the wedding) and 'important' immediate family members that cannot go (e.g. grandparents too elderly to travel, etc.).
  11. Beautiful dress!!! And not having to wear a bra is a good thing... its one less layer to have on.
  12. Wow! When I first looked I thought that was the picture from the website! You like like a princess; gorgeous!

  14. Mine is included in my package for up to a certain number of ppl (can't remember right now how many). But, $12.50 per slice seems like a lot of $$ for a cake!
  15. I echo everyone's else's statements! You look absolutely gorgeous.. dress, accessories, everything is perfect!

I am so excited too, I have been telling people that it is in June 2009. lol. Gald to meet you. I am working on a decorator now and a photographer. I think i found a decorator, she lives there and as far as photos i am so confused been meeting and researching too many people. I have passed that task off to my FI. Still hunting down a dress. I have been contemplating to get it made. I will be reaching outto a few dress shops today to see what a price quote for what I want would look like. Well, lets keep our spirits up. i will pass on any info you need. Oh, is it possible I can speak with the person who negotiated air for you? I only have room negotiated. Thanks. He he!! I just changed it!! You are the first person who noticed that (including me!). Too funny! Anyway, my travel agent is Carol at Scully Travel 973.379.3600 ext 10... she is really fantastic! Good luck on looking at dresses!!! Let me know if you find anything!!
  17. Thanks for your feedback ladies!!! It's getting to the point where I want to run everything by you all before I do it!

Our package comes with my bouquet and his boutonniere... we aren't really planning on buying flowers for the GM's or the BM's. We will decide when we get down there as well! In the end, its completely up to you. If you want to do them; a simple white orchid or other white flower could be nice and not busy on FI only.
  19. I am so glad you started this thread!! I didn't see one either and was wondering if I am the only August 2009 bride on here... Okay, I am a bit of an early bird too... Chosen my location and paid the deposit. Found a Travel Agent who negotiated group rates. Had my wedding put down deposits to secure their discounted rates... and some of them have even completed their aiirfare! Found and ordered my STD's. Been looking for a dress... and may have found 'the one'. Been looking for bridesmaid dresses Found but not yet ordered my favors. Found but not yet ordered by BM gifts.

I completely agree.. if it works out well then you have a wonderful situation! The dress will be more special to you because it was made for you by someone in your family and it will be made to fit your body. But, if it doesn't work out well.. then it gets awkward. Either you are stuck with a dress you aren't completely satisified with or you have a very uncomfortable situation with a family member.
  21. Hmmm.. I love them btw - You are very talented and patient! I could never sit down and do that! I agree with a combination of what ppl said above.. I would definetely darken the colors but I like the 3 different clip art images. I would try it a couple different ways on plain paper and then see what you like best!!

  23. I love the two Mori Lee!! The color is so saturated and the dresses are really beautiful cuts. But.. If you like something now; you may want to consider ordering it soon. By the time the 'spring' colors come back out it will be cutting it close to your wedding date.
