  2. Finally found "the one" . It had all the components that I wanted in a dress, a slim skirt with pick ups. The picture might turn out a little small. The dress is called Sofia by Watters.
  3. Hi Michelle! I pretty much have the same vendors as Erika. I'm using Baja Video Productions for my video. If you have DJ Mijares, he's a Dreams approved Vendor also. If you've chosen your vendors from this site, you most likely will be okay. Hope this helps!

We wanted to add some of the traditional filipino things into our ceremony.. wondering if rev. Marco Arechiga is available for a symbolic ceremony.. thanks in advance for any info! Hi Melette! I'm doing a symbolic ceremony too. Like many brides I just don't want to deal with all the paperwork involved. The FI and I are just going to city hall a few weeks before we leave for Cabo and make it legal than. We met Rev. Marco during our site visit and he said he has done many many filipino weddings and is very familiar with our filipino traditions. He says that Mexican/Spanish wedding actually have the same traditions. He even offered to wear a Barong to the wedding if we wanted him to! Yeah contact him to see if you can meet him during your site visit, but I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Happy to help!
  5. OMG Michelle! I didn't know your wedding was coming up so soon! How exciting!!

Is is warm enough to have an outdoor reception? I'm concerned because we have quite a few guest traveling with us and I want everyone to be comfortable. The weather while we were there was perfect! Your guest will love it! It was warm but not hot, perfect sun dress with flip flops and swimming weather. The evenings were a little cooler but I was still able to wear dresses and shorts. There was an outdoor wedding reception every night we were there and even a furniture company convention party that had about 300 guest and everyone was wearing summer outfits. Happy Planning!
  7. Hi Jen! The fiance and I have never been anywhere in mexico but Cabo so I really dont have anything to compare it too. But when we visited Cabo for the first time last August we fell in love with the area and the people. We're also from the bay area and most of our family and friends are in LA and San Diego so Cabo is just really convenient travel wise. The last thing that finalized my decision was this website. Even after I knew I wanted a destination wedding in Cabo I had no idea where to start or how I would be able to plan a wedding in a different country. Finding this website has allowed me plan my dream wedding. I just came back from a site visit from Dreams and I cannot be happier with the vendors that I picked from the recommendations of other brides from BDW. Hope this helps. Happy Planning!

Plus you have to think about all the drinks they will be drinking throughout the day, that fills people up too.
  11. Peaches, I was looking online and both Cabo Real and Palmilla charge around $150 to $250 depending on the season. I'm booking with my travel agent so i'll let you know when she gives me the prices.

  13. Hello future brides! I'm getting Married at Dreams in October and would like to set up golfing reservations for my uncles and father in law. For those of you that went golfing how did you guys set up your reservations for golf. Did you have to contact the resort or did you have to go through your travel agent? Thanks for any responses!
