I am getting married there in March. The location is beautiful. We are getting married on the beach and then having our reception on the 12tribes terrace. I wanted to have it at the resturant but we didn't have enough people to rent out the entire thing. I haven't had any real problems but the resort is new and I don't think they have had more than a couple of weddings. If you can be patient everything is fine and they are really nice. I can always let you know how things go after March.

I agree, It really depends on what you are looking for and how many people attend. I am having my reception at Casa Dorada and my total for everything is 23k. That price includes rings,airfaire,hotel,invitations and every other little detail. I am having 40 people and I thought Casa Dorada's prices were resonable.

Congrats on the weight loss. You should be very proud. You look great in your pictures. I am getting mine done in January and I am so nervous.

Welcome to the forum. I ran into the same situation while working with ME Cabo. No one would get back to me so I had to have my wedding somewhere else. However, when we visited they were so nice to us so I was very suprised to fine that they did not respond back. That is one of the down falls to having a destination wedding.

The first ones are cute. Maybe you can use them for something other than your cake topper.

Hello, I received some pricing from Leah but I need to start to confirmation on how many girls are really interested. Leah informed me that she was sold out in March but if we can get 4 to 6 girls together she would do a trip in Feb. Her pricing is very reasonable compared to other Chicago photoghers. Hey girls, For those of you that are really interested we could get a suite at Hotel Monaco for around $450. There are less expensive ones but this suite is very nice. Also if we get enough girls we could get Leah out to Chicago sometime in Jan/Feb. We have to pay for her travel so the more girls the better. Check out her website she has great work. I'll work on finding out what her pricing is for a session. Let me know who would be interested in working with Leah.

I would be very interested.I was a little nervous doing this by myself. My wedding is in March so January would work good for me. I have been looking into some photographers and will share them once I find their information.

I am using Sarai Flores from Signature weddings and she has been great so far. She has done alot of weddings at the O&O and has some great ideas.

The place is beautiful but not really for anyone over 30 or young kids. I visited the location and was really considering having my wedding there since the setup they have on the beach is really nice. They were very kind to us when we were there however when I attempted to get additional wedding information from them the wedding coordinator would never get back to me. Since it was so nice I was also considering having our welcome reception there and again when I contacted them they said someone would get back to me and they never did. I sent numerous e-mails to the wedding coordinator and still nothing.

Hello, Since you are a timeshare owner you can contact GBS and reserve a block of rooms for your guest. They have some great deals right now since they are still trying to sell out the timeshares. If your guest don't mind sitting through the mandatory breakfast they can get a deal for around $900 for a week. Also, you should negotiate a nightly room rate for your guest in your wedding contract with Casa Dorada as well.

Hello, I am getting married at Casa Dorada in March 2009. I think I was their first wedding contract. I really had to work with them to get the contract put together however they were more than accommodating and I am very happy I to be getting married there. The wedding planner is a little more than what I wanted to spend but she has also been wonderful. I also looked at a number of different sites in Cabo and Casa Dorada to me was the best. We own a timeshare there and the place is beautiful. We were also able to work out some great deals for our guest accommodations. Please feel free to ask me any other questions that you have.
