GUys, I need help choosing colors/themes for my Mexico wedding =( The BM dresses are cotton candy pink. I love damask - but Fiance hates it Love hot pink, but I feel like it's too girly and not the right setting for the tone of the wedding. NEED IDEAS PLEEEEEZE!!!

I got an answer from Landay today!! I sent her an email asking about the whole deposit thing we were talking about the other day (last week). First, I got and out of office reply saying she wouldn't be around till 9/18 but then she wound up getting back to me. I have a confirmation number for my wedding (I booked with destinationweddings.com) I knew that my TA contacted the resort and booked my wedding because I was CCd on all the emails. When Landy sent her an email back saying that I needed to fill out some info to reserve the day, I was on it, really quickly. Days later I received a confirmation # from Landy herself, and like a month later I received the invoice from dw.com with the ultimate wedding package added to my final price. I have been paying it every month, but after reading all the worry about deposits (and not being sure where the money I was sending was going - plane tickets, the stay itself, etc) I became concerned. So any way, read the email below and make sure you get a confirmation number if you haven't already and also make sure you contact her to nail down your wedding date (if she didn't send you an email asking for your name, grooms name, wedding date, package, and a whole slew of other stuff, chances are you're not confirmed - and after you send her that info, she emails you back with a confirmation #). You Girls are on a ROLL!!! I'm getting married on the 11th and I really haven't done anything yet! Booked the trip Paid 3/4 of the way for wedding and honeymoon ordered my dress chose, but not order the bridesmaid dresses got the FIs suit yesterday! (and what a steal - less than $500 at Theory!!! Thank goodness for the summer sale!) made and send STDs searching around for paper for my invitations I am looking for a place that has great paper... I really think I want to do a pink and black damask wedding or blue and black damask... Anyone have any ideas I'm proud of you girls! You're on it! By the way, how do I get my picture on the side?? WHy the heck is it UNDER my post?

The ring you want to replace your e-ring with is GORGEOUS... I typically don't go for engagement rings that are not diamonds, but that one is definitely an exception to my rule. I notice that a lot of people outside where I live (NYC) go for e-rings that are not diamonds... any reason why? Or any reason why we do? I just find it odd... isn't the symbolism of a diamond supposed to mean forever? Just curious

I have an opinion question for you =) I reserved the ballroom in the convention center for my reception and i was wondering how big that room is... we have about 30 people booked right now and we're expecting around 50. I definately don't want the room to look too big for our party. Will a party of 50 be lost in there? Excellent job, by the way, on your review. You are absolutely beautiful and so are your pictures. Thank you so much for helping our all us bride-to-be's and answering all these questions; it is so much appreciated!
