    Even though that is the tradition a lot of people pay for their own wedding, therefore I think you should just come right out and ask. At least then you will know for sure.

    That really sucks! I have never heard of that! You probably should call the people who already have made other arrangements and explain to them the situation. Tell them that you just cannot afford to pay that extra fee and it will be added to the cost of their trip. As far as the website and STDs however you are designing them but an asterisk at the bottom and state that if you choose to make arrangement outside of the resort you will be charged a $70 day pass fee for the day of the wedding. This way everyone will know what the total cost will be when planning their trip. Good Luck!
