  1. You're pretty much safe with games, deck of cards, sudoku, Old Navy flip flops ($2), gum, spanish phrases, matches, (squirt gun is SO smart!), snacks of any sort as well, bug spray etc.
  2. I'm a May 8th bride as well and I all of a sudden want more time I am doing OOT bags as well, one per room too. A friend suggested to me to get supplies from Costco as they come in packages of little packets that come to much less than a dollar per piece, just something to think of! I decided to not do favors and just do the bag, I know that i personally would get a kick out of the bag more than a favor. I'm including a common spanish phrases book that I got free as a print out which I'll fold into a book, cocktails for dummies so they can have fun ordering different drinks at the bar, travel candle I'll make stickers for, custom match books, nice mesh beach bags, room list, welcome letter, bug spray, purell, motrin, emergency, vitamins, lip balm and a maraca. I think it will be fun, definitely worth it!
  3. Katie - my house looks like a tornado hit it with all the miscellaneous stuff I've been buying. Fortunately for me, I work @ 6:30am - 3:30pm so I have a little daylight and daytime to workout, get wedding stuff done and see friends. It's exhausting but I'm making it happen! Allllsoooo I do 90% of my shopping online, so it's faster and easier for me, I always find coupons for free shipping and discounts online so it really works out. I'm on the internet all day long researching and whatnot Etsy is my best friend and I have my friends that are interested in my wedding and helping me out and so I'm really a lucky girl. My MOH and I have been trying to be event planners for years so we get together and go off on ideas and just love this stuff, makes it a lot easier. I'm telling you ladies, Etsy... ridiculous how awesome Etsy is!
  4. Katie, HAHA!!! I always bust myself with my "awesome" & "rad" I talk to East Coaster's all day and once I let that slip they crack up and go, you're from California aren't you!? =)
  5. AmyBermuda - Down 5.5lbs holy smokes that's awesome!!! Thank you, I want to use a poloroid camera but don't have one and figured it may be easier for me to keep track of the photos digitally instead.
  6. I agree with riokayak, lean for weight loss definitely and toning will show in 7 weeks for sure. Just make sure you try and stick to the food plan as best as possible for maximum results. It may feel weird eating all that protein but I've never had any program work better for toning.
  7. Hi Amy (afrommert) - I purchased a PDF from a girl that customized it to our names and medding date and font. It's basically a bare tree image that I am going to print out on thick cardstock and bring with us a green stamp pad, pen and like purell to clean off your finger and you put your green finger print on the branch and sign your name next to it and then we frame it and hang it up when we get home. It says at the top "Our Family Tree" and below our names and wedding date. It was such a unique idea that i love it. I'll have to put up a picture of it. I'm also going to do the white board guest book idea but with a framed chalk board where you write a message to the bride and groom and you have someone taking pictures of everyone with their message. So I'm going to have a table full of fun interesting things to do for memories sake. Let me know what you girls think! It's always nice when you have time off to focus, whenever FI is around I get so distracted, LOL! ALSO, OMG, I'm so excited, I'm finally getting my OOT bags, bridal party beach bags and matching groomsmen tote/messenger looking bags as well as items for inside of it. I picked out and will be ordering the remaining pieces of FI's suit tonight as well from JCrew, have a 20% off coupon and a $25 off rewards card. Getting a lot done today! Feels good
  8. Riokayak - That's amazing! I too remember seeing results very quickly, that's always the best when you have that instant motivation.
  9. Happy Tuesday ladies! How is everyone doing? I've been doing pretty good working on my items to get done. Last night I finished writing everything for my Passport invites... it's hard because it's 4 pages of text! I'll have to go through it a few times more to make sure it all makes sense. I also went to Banana Republic on Sunday and got FI's wedding outfit pants. As a memeber I received a coupon for 30% off everything so I got a good deal I also finalized my guest book with the Etsy seller and should get that today. I received my travel candles & my BD lingerie yesterday as well as some of my placecard ideas. I received my gift I purchased for the friend who threw me my lingerie shower that I have to put together still. I think that's it! I hope you all are doing great

I'm having a hard time figuring that out for some reason, LOL!
  11. Thank you!!! That's such a sweet compliment Oh ok you got blank ones, how lucky! Well they really did turn out amazing

  13. OMG Autumn those are amazing!!! So you bought them from OTC and just painted over them? I love mini things as well and was going to buy them from OTC, you did a fantastic job! You should be so proud
  14. Andrea - I think I'll bring all the stuff and put them together at the resort so they aren't all squished
  15. Alisa - Ok looking at your photos, I really wish I could have come to your wedding! It looked like you guys had so much fun! Also... you're wedding dress is STUNNING... I remember it before all the additions and you just rocked that dress out! I did a little gasp when I saw it... no joke. You're veil, OMG, amazing!!! Where did you get your garter? I want a black garter too I love your shoes and you makeup inspiration, how freaking cute are you! You're eyes too are so gorgeously blue I'm jealous! I loved your OOT bags too! I'm doing a vintage inspired theme, my whole look is sort of art deco based off my dress so I'm trying to funk it up a bit with some classicness. LOL sorry I think I'm rambling. All in all, I love it!
  16. Nicole that really is terrible! That makes me worried. You'd think that they could figure out who the bride and groom were and OVERcorrect for their mistake!

My new favourite workout program is Chalean Extreme, which has more rest days and shorter workouts than P90X. And I have never been in such good shape in my life. I really wanted to try Chalean Extreme! I hear great things about it How is it challenge-wise compared to P90X? I just started Insanity and it's really killing me which makes me believe it's working.
  18. Alisa - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, like the other girls said, I'm so glad he was able to be there for your wedding and be apart of your day. It's good that you were able to spend that time with him. My father passed away about a decade ago and I am so upset he won't be there for my wedding I've asked everyone to not mention him or bring him up at all, that's really bad I know but I don't want to be a hysterical bride. Thank you for sharing your photos with us too and I'm so happy your wedding was amazing! I can't wait to look at them. Like Katie mentioned, if you need to vent or chat, we're all here to listen and help you out and trust me I definitely know what you're going through.

  20. A master list is ALWAYS good... I keep adding to it every day it feels like and now it's far too big. Has anyone ever gotten airbrush makeup done? I just booked my makeup artist and that's what she does, apparently it's flawless and lasts for up to 20 hours.
  21. Andrea - You're welcome! Anything to make this process more fun I'm for! I could spend hundreds of dollars at that website, it's perfect for OOT bags! Do you have your bags yet? I can't decide what to get... Also, I bought a alternative guestbook today on Etsy, I'm stoked about it! I never really like the idea of a guest book to be honest so I am doing something a little different.
