I do like Insanity, it's PURE cardio, no weights which was a shocking change going from P90X to Insanity. I completed P90X so just wanted a change of pace afterwards. Now, doing insanity I realized that I'd like more of a combo of some weights some cardio. The cardio slims you down quicker but I don't show as much tone with Insanity. The cardio is intense but they are shorter workouts which is nice, gives me less chance to talk myself out of doing them.

Just make sure the part in your hair with the side you will be standing on. I didn't bring any decoration for the reception. I did make votive candle name place-cards instead of paying for votive candles. But they had really cool large blue blown glass candles that were at each table also. I also had a candy buffet. Everyone seemed to really enjoy that. Make sure to take pictures of how you want things to look. My only regret was not going up to the Zaccolo terrace prior to the reception. I would have fixed my candy buffet. So I didn't really bring any lanterns or anything. I wanted to but I didn't get it done. The lighting is nice and dim and trees and such are lit up in the background. They brought the flowers from the ceremony over so no need to go crazy with table settings. For the cocktail hour... The donkey was true entertainment and a great photo-op moment. I only wish that there would have been chairs. They threw in 5 chairs but if i would have been smarter I would have had some of the guys move over the park benches for extra seating. We had our by the pool outside Zacolo, so for the ladies it got a little tiring with heels on the cement. This is wonderful! Thank you so much for the tips, I'm emailing you now

They built me a link for my website with all my info pre-filled and gave our guests a discount. Also we did a party bus into Play for 3 hours and it was only $350 US. Cancuntransfers.com Ash this is great info!!! I want to offer my girls hair and makeup but don't want to use the resort. Also the party bus sounds amazing, did you enjoy it?

I have been to several mexican resorts that were inclusive and some that were not. The food was good and endless drinks always make things better. Our guests liked it that there was lots of variety. I highly recommend the Sienna restaurant. We were greeted with champagne and friendly service everywhere. Our on-sight wedding planner went above and beyond. We had a few last minute requests that were taken care of. We requested a Grooms dinner the night before the wedding for all the guests (40 in total) they gave us a set menu that was really good. The only hitch to that is we didn't think about seating arrangement prior to the dinner. So all 40 of us walked in and it was kind of crazy. I would suggest thinking of seating arrangements ahead of time for events like that... at least have in mind that there are tables of 8 and where you and your parents may sit. We got married on the sky deck which was amazing and worth the extra cash. we also opted to have a private reception at Zacolo and had the donkey cocktail hour. I highly recommend having a private reception. If you get the pearl package a pay for your private reception dinner vs. the included dinner in spoon. We used a resort DJ last minute and were very satisfied. But do get your requested play list to them early. My only complaint was my cake... It didn't look like a professional did it. It was not at all as it was pictured from Lomas travel. The wedding planner also noticed its lack of perfection. Well sorry for the extra long chat but I thought I would share my thoughts. Good luck to you all. And I hope this helps. I will try my best to upload some photos Congrats! Thank you so much for sharing. Wow!!! This makes me so excited, you totally had my wedding I too am getting married on the Sky Deck, having the donkey cocktail hour & a private reception at Zocollo. If you could upload some pictures or email them to me I'd be SO excited!! I have a few questions if you don't mind: Which cake did you get? I asked for a cake as well, one of their options and now I'm kinda nervous... Did you bring any decor for Zocollo? They told me I could bring whatever I wanted but I just don't know what will look best in there. How windy is the Sky Deck and were you able to do a rehearsal there the evening before? Thanks so much!!

How funny, I think it's beautiful! All you do is email them and reference your dress designer and make to [email protected] They get back to you pretty quick and are good with emailing fast. They even got back to me and asked me to double check a few of my measurements. Good luck!

  9. I agree, more hours needed in the day, especially with planning a wedding! I get up @ 5am every day so there's absolutely no way I could workout in the morning either, the guy in the cubicle next to me works out @ 3am and I have no idea how he does it. I have been doing alright with my Insanity, on 3 days last week but this week will be 6 days (for the first time in a month I think) but now I'm on a mission since my BD photos are in a month. Next week is my recovery week from Insanity so I'm going to use it to do P90X with you ladies!

Is that kind of like a joint bachelor/bachelorette party? HAHA! I am pretty proud of this idea as well We're having our bachelor/bachelorette parties in Mexico so it's more like a fun weekend and Vegas with a random legal wedding thrown in. I'm looking forward to buying my 3rd dress for this! I don't know yet when I'm going, I was thinking of going a month or two after my wedding, whatever works but that summer just for the weekend. I'll totally let you know when we figure it out Quote: Originally Posted by amybermuda Here is a weird thing, I was looking at the special offers at Azul and they said for the honeymoon package you have to provide a copy of your marriage license to prove your wedding date was w/in 30 days (not the year - just month and date) of your trip. So, now I am all freaking out that things like that will happen in the future and I'll have to celebrate my legal wedding date and not the Mexico one. weird, huh?! I just saw this too... I freaked out for a moment and then realized this is probably to deter people from always "on their honeymooon" and getting free stuff. Playing dumb and not knowing and holding up your wedding dress in it's bag once at the next resort may help this case I'm not worried about it!
  11. Lindz - I think you should stick to your resort it's SO absolutely gorgeous and people will still come! I'm doing symbolic and TOTALLY stoked about it! I get to elimnate the step of having to sign my name which means less time during the ceremony, LOL! Also, it gives me a fabulous reason to run away to Vegas with our honor couples for the weekend to do a crazy tacky suit, short dress Elvis marriage in the middle of the night (FI is MOST stoked about this) hahaha When I came up with this idea he was the most excited and decisive I've ever seen him!

I'm having it modified to a corset back. Now, the dress is with my parents and I'm several states away. MobileMe Gallery Does anyone have any idea of who might have done the gown? Like most bridal shops, the only tag in the gown is from the shop- not the designer. -Nikki OMG, Nikki, this is GORGEOUS!!!
  14. AmyBermuda - OOOO THANK YOU!!! I'm going to start working on this with my Matron of Honor tonight. I'm sooooo happy it's short! I should have a videographer as well so maybe I'll put up my wedding video once done so you guys can laugh at how short and sweet it was. Short or not, I'm still going to be a nervous/emotional wreck up there! Andrea - HAHA thank you! I honestly try and dumb myself down because I get too excited and I really can't let anything go so if I don't get it I will go to extremely or put it on my ever growing list of things to do. I'm constantly thinking of solutions or loop holes or ways to get my way. Hee hee, FI's accepted it now, thankfully

  16. Happy Thursday girls!! Man am I a sensitive sap! I try and hide it constantly too, some people will never know I can't decide for the life of me either, what if there is something else better? Then when I see it and it's too late, I'll regret it?! Picking out a dress was awful... I think 10 bridal salon's later I finally found it. Oh and it took me like 3 months to write my invites! Man that was a process... task I'm most regretting you ask? Writing the ceremony... having stage fright, being so emotional I know it's just going to be a mess... oh man Lindz! You've been getting stuff done, that's awesome!! I want to check out your new resort as well, I'm sure it will be great no matter where you are
  17. I too am writing the entire ceremony and it's the one thing I'm avoiding because it seems like such a big task! There is a thread on here with tons of great written ceremony's for ideas. I booked with DestinationWeddings.com, there is a thread on here as well with reviews. My experience so far has been ok, a few bumps nothing major. I wait far too long in between emails every once in awhile but it that's the worst I ever get I'll be fine.
  18. Katie - my Maid of Honor is a Virgo, very smart and very popular, my dad was a Virgo too, I really love them! Renee - How funny! Lindsay (TheFutureMrsLutz) is also a Cancer Whenever I get overly stressed, I try and remind myself that I worry too much and I'm probably just over-worrying once again. I'm big into details which are difficult and a MAJOR planner, I've been planning my wedding for nearly 2 years (in February it will be)

  20. AmyBermuda - LOL!! OMG, my FI is a Libra (so I ABSOLUTELY love them) and his common response to most wedding option questions is normally, "I don't know", "whatever you want baby" or "sure" to multiple choice options. So trust me, I understand! I'm a Cancer so I'm very picky and specific, planner and a worrier - total opposite, he keeps me from going nutty! Curious Amy, what's your FI's sign?

I don't want to lose her as a friend, so if it's just that she can't come to mexico that's fine - annoying, but we'll deal with it and we've got to be understanding about it...we're asking people to pay a lot of money to come. it's just the rest of the stuff that was in the text that we need to work out (if she wants to work it out). we'll see what happens next! Yeah your situation is ENTIRELY different than mine and I'm sad to hear that it's affecting you more today. A heart to heart with her in person is needed, just be understanding to the financial burden and tell her how you feel and you don't want to lose her as a friend. I hope it all works out for the best hun! XOXO
