So glad I prodded I had a feeling something would go wrong there so they are getting me bigger vases. The dimensions of the vases they gave me were 20cm, 15cm & 10 cm with 2.5cm across the top. I'm gonna look into doing something like that for centerpieces I think. Thanks for all who helped with posting pictures! Most flowers work, ones on a stem best I assume. I'm putting my fake ones in the vases and the WC said they would cut them to the vase size for me. Also, I was told the floating candles would be no problem as long as the flame was a below the top of the vase. I'm having my reception on Zocollo terrace as well so it's not going to be windy there. It just puts extra stress on me which is not cool. Its hard not to look rude saying no he cant come - but it was super rude to ask! AmyB - It's your wedding girl, don't feel bad for people not being invited to stuff, just explain it to her and that should be that. P.S - I love your centerpieces! SOOOO pretty! Lindz - forgot to mention that I love the dresses too! I wouldn't worry about sweating, they are thin so they shouldn't be hot. My only concern was that they look really short. That just may be the 6ft model but I'd check the length and make sure it's suitable for your tastes.

They may be too hot for summer. They are VERY thin but 100% silk kinda scares me with sweating! On the website, I have not done the bridal party and some other random sections. I need to focus on finishing "what to wear" and "wedding weekend (as soon as we get it planned out)." Thanks ladies! New To-Do's: 1) MAIL STD'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2) Order wedding dress 3) Locate sizes for bridesmaids dresses (I may need your help here ladies!) 4) Start picking out our rings!!!!! 5) What else should I be doing at 6 months out You did AMAZINGLY well!!! I'd say figure out flowers, real or real touch, start working on invite (seriously this has been the hardest so far) If you are doing OOT bags start researching that. Start buying stuff for them too. I have a LOT of printing to do, menu's etc. and that's time consuming, you could always knock that out early. I need to figure out place card stuff too. Have your peeps decide when you're bridal shower will be and bachelorette. Quote: Originally Posted by thefuturemrslutz I have not decided yet either...Amy (KH)'s centerpieces are gorgeous! 7. I'm jealous of you girls! Mine are ready to be printed but I am having a TA snaffu and may switch so I had to hold off on printing... so close!!

Those few people may simply stay booked with your original one. I would just make sure you still get credit for those nights booked if you guys get free parties or free nights or discounts according to how many people have booked. All I know is mine has bent over backwards to answer my questions and submit anything I request to her tour operator. Now they I have been using her, I am even more appalled at the other TA's I was looking at. I am in medical sales, and if I didn't get back to one of my physicians as soon as he requested something, I would lose that account in a heartbeat!!!!!! Sorry for the rant, but I just don't understand these people that are making money off us but not providing decent service. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this...let us know if we can help! This is good advice… I have a group contract already with DW and I’m nervous to switch this late in the game. I do still have half my guests that need to book so I’m wondering if I should have them go through a better TA. EXACTLY!! I tell my FI this all the time as we’re both in Corporate Software Sales and if I didn’t respond or get a customer a quote in weeks or continued to send erroneous quotes I wouldn’t have a job!!! I would lose customers left and right, it is appalling being in a field where I sell and create and send quotes.

Crazy. Mine is a small business owner and I wanted to support small business. Stupid me!! You should be mad! How hard is their job seriously that so many of them get it wrong or don't know what they are doing? You're not stupid, companies big and small alike are screwing up so it doesn't really matter who you go with because dw.com is a big company. Stick to your guns! You deserve a competent TA We all do! My best friend and sister are both married and BMs and neither of their husbands are invited. Is this what I tell the BM? Her BF is 8 years older than FI and a cop and just not on the same wave length as FI. I know she wants her BF to be more included in our group of friends, but I just think its totally awkward to ask me to have input on his stag and thats not appropriate. I dont expect FI to telll me who to invite to my bachelorette. I almost want to say all that to her but I know she will be mad/upset. She was upset that BF was not invited to another little mini-stag on island that someone threw for FI. I can either explain these things to her or leave it alone and not say anything.... She can't force her BF upon your FI... It's rude of her to assume she can make you have your FI invite him to HIS stag when he's not a close friend. He's only invited to the wedding by her association anyways right? If they weren't BF & GF would he be coming? You don't need to explain yourself unless you feel you need to you but you can always tell her it's close friends only.

I sound like s snob. haha I wanted smoky eyes but not something too dark that it looked like I got punched and I wanted my face to seem glowing and not greasy or sweaty. She used a lot of browns on the eyes and it really made my brown eyes pop. The lipstick and cheeks are pink toned. It all came out looking really pretty. Now if I can replicate it. The eye make up is awesome. It is waterproof for sure and if comes off easy without making your skin feel dried out like a lot of long wear make up does. I would say its defiantly worth checking out. Ok, I have gone on and on now, sorry about that. This is great to hear! Thank you, I am nervous doing my own makeup but I don't do too bad with my makeup (at least I think so) and I take instruction really well so I'm hoping I shock myself with how well I'm able to duplicate it. Bobbi Brown is pricey too isn't it? Did you have to buy a lot?

I decided to go with the Bobbi Brown waterproof eye make up line. Its really cool and last for 8 plus hours. I have a few things I need to work on but I think it will work out great. FI and I also picked out and ordered our cake topper for the AHR. So we are almost done with the cake planning as well. Today we are working on center pieces for the AHR with his parents. Well he is workiing on them, I am going to cook and watch football. He is the creative one and I wouldn't know the first thing on how to make a center piece stunning and romantic. Only 20 days left till the big day. The time is going to fly by. I am ready for the beach and a little sun! That's awesome!
