  1. Aww what a cute story!!! Have an amazing wedding, he's gonna LOVE that BD book
  2. GORGEOUS!! I love your photos, you are SUCH a beautiful woman! Congrats

Oh and while the beach was beautiful like nothing I'd ever seen before, I would have gone totally bridezilla if I had my wedding there lol. There were hundrends of people on the beach. I saw 2 weddings there and seriously I almost cried for those brides. Besides the fact of the hundreds of people standing only 10ft from their ceremony (some of them topless), there were tons of boats in the background and a million blue beach chairs surrounding the entire ceremony site. Horrific. Their decorations consisted of putting some white fabric on the palm trees - thats it. Even me, being the simplest bride around, would have been traumatized. It was clear that the hotel did not specialize in weddings. Glad to hear your back and had fun!! Oh man... I would have gone totally bridezilla too if I showed up and that was my wedding. I think we were all pretty ok while you were gone, a few minor freakouts but nothing serious
  4. Awww Christie! You are not being a crybaby, your FI needs to contribute equally, it's not fair for only you to be bustin' your booty to pay for this wedding!!! Good for you for getting a second job and really stepping it up, that's very responsible of you, it would be much easier to throw it on a credit card and hope for the best but you're taking initiative! I don't have a job, I have one seriously intense job, LOL but I don't have anyone that will even pay a single red cent for my wedding. Both my mom (dad has passed) and FI's parents can't afford to help us in any way at all to pay for the wedding and my mom won't be able to even come if I don't pay her way. In the last 2 weeks, we've had to let both our parents even borrow money from us which is freaking me out because I can't support us and my mom and future in-laws. I'm very good with money and run all the finances for me and FI so I'll work it out but we're almost there honey, 3 months and some change and it will be ALL worth it I promise!!! XOXOXO

I am going to have to get a few more things. I just found out a new people booked last minute. OMG!! I am getting married in 12 days!! Wow! You did get a lot done!! Ok, picking out a garter has been the HARDEST thing ever... so hard that I finally had FI pick it, then bought it, now I don't want it anymore so I'm buying a new one in hopes someone else likes it and will buy it off me. Can't wait to see a planning thread from you, I have stuff for my OOT bag and alway think I may be forgetting something!

We're actually going to make a trip to Cancun in a couple months for the FI's company, so Le Blanc will be one of our site visits JUST in case we may want to change our minds last minute. We just love the photos of the property at Le BLanc. Boutique, white, clean... that infinity pool is to die for. Keep us posted!!! You have great taste! I actually am moving to Le Blanc after my wedding for my honeymoon and I stayed at The Royal Cancun in March 2008 for a week long vacation. My top two choices for a wedding were The Royal and Le Blanc, too pricey though. The Royal is FABULOUS, you'd love it, it was like paradise. Can't say enough good things about that resort, I'd go back in a heartbeat!
  8. Yeah, yeah Lindz rub it in our face why don't you! Le Blanc was my first choice too as you know... I compromised so people could afford it. If my friends made more money I'd be there with you babe! You're a lucky girl, I can't wait to see all your gorgeous chic wedding photos <3
  9. Love it!! I'll see if I am feeling bold enough to use a BD photo...

This may have already been answered, so I'm sorry about that. I have a question for the experts. Will I be able to do this with my level of fitness? I'm going to be completely honest *blushing* I haven't worked out in about a month in a half, but before that I was working out very steadily with weights, cardio, yoga and pilates. I still get a super little workout with my dog walking, but that's been about it. I hear about how much people are so so so sore and am curious how this workout achieves this at home? I guess I've just been a gym person, so I'm a little confused...Any advice is appreciated!! I'm so happy to see all of the great results everyone has had! Note: just tried on some bikinis to see where exactly I was at. Not pretty. I just want to start off by saying, I'm not claiming to be an expert here by any means but I have completed P90X and just started it all over again last week. I used to be a gym person but then getting to the gym and paying for parking started to wear on me and I kept hearing great things about P90X. FI and I did it last April and I've been been in better shape. I even bought Insanity, another Beachbody DVD program of intense high impact cardio to see how that would work for me and I got better results from P90X, Insanity had less toning effects on me except it really got my abs looking nice. If you haven't worked out in a few months it may be a little rough at first but doable. The difficulty with P90X is that the workouts are on the long side 1 hour, 75 minutes and 90 minutes and each day focuses on a certain area. So an hour of Shoulder's and Arms or Legs and Back really works the same muscles in that hour, over and over. Soreness is common and frequent in this program but it works. I am at the point of needing toning, lose some body fat and this works. The diet is pretty important in this which is rough at first but not impossible and not only for advanced athletes. When I first started P90X last year I couldn't do a single pullup and not many pushups despite frequenting the gym. It was amazing to finally be able to do pullups on my own without a chair. Good luck, hope you join us!

  12. Katie - It actually sounds like you got a lot done so good for you! I would be super angry with your BM... I don't know what I'd say but I'm definitely more confrontational than not.

Need those! ha You see now how I'm obsessed with chairs and will pay more for the ones I want?

In case anyone else is doing travel mugs in their bags: I used discount mugs .com and bought orange and silver mugs and then had stickers made on Vista Print. I used the outdoor advertising sticker option for $12 and copied our logo all over it. I am going to cut them out and stick on each shot glass and travel mug. That way, when people go home, they can take off the "Mark & Amy 4 eva'!!" (kidding, they dont say that) sticker and use them normally. I'm definitely going to have to spread this out among other people to bring with. I have sooooo much stuff it's insane, I had a field day last night taking pictures for my planning thread which I've been planning for like 6 months now That is a great idea! I personally think it would be hilarious to put "Mark + Amy 4eva"!! LOL
  17. This is what I'm working on too! My drink as well needs to be green. I actually decided to have a get with my MOH & a few bridesmaids and we are going to try different recipes tomorrow night together and perfect the ingredients and we are going to name it too. I figured this would be a fun way to discovered what works best
  18. LOVE, your pix!!! You looked like you had such a blast at your wedding, how fun!
  19. Great job! I love your dress too, my dress is not beach appropriate but I don't care Have an amazing wedding!
  20. Voted for you!!! Those pictures are all so gorgeous, good luck!
