  1. Booo indeed! I had to ask my MOH husband to step in because I have 5 and he has 3
  2. Ladies, I'm the saddest kid on the block right now... My photo did my BD book layout and gave me the link and password to access it online. I spent about 5 hours one night making notes in the comment boxes below each page of what I wanted changed/added. I wrote an inscription and put some quotes and song lyrics on some pages. I put my heart and soul into it and really took the time to make it good. I was really proud of it and did it about a month ago and just emailed my photog because I never got the updated online proof. So I clicked "send changes" and it sent it off to him and I heard back from him today... there's NO info in there. He never got any changes and now I can't even remember what I said, quotes I used or any changes at all... I'm so upset, this is devastating ugh! So I thought since so many of you girls have this shoot coming up, if you make any changes/inscriptions/quotes - keep a separate record of it just in case, I highly regret this now.

Sorry, actually we had 3 groomsmen bail. Mad? I'm am piiiiissssed. These people had over 2 years to save, plan etc. One of them has tons of money and says he can't get time off work (which is BS) he's going to a DW a month prior for 2 days and a girl he works with is coming to my wedding for 5 with no issues. The next groomsman literally fell off the face of the earth, I haven't heard from him in a year so, bye bye. The third groomsmen didn't tell me he was coming until I emailed him letting him know I bought a tie for him and then trying to say he told my FI he wasn't coming, which he didn't. Soooo... yeah, good old flakey men. I had a lot of fickle people, originally had 65 RSVP, down to now 40 booked so a lot of people have a lot of lame reasons. No I'm not bitter... hahaha

They also come with nutrition plans if you are motivated to do them. LOL!! "Do your best.... and what? Forget the rest" "This is Yoga X my brotha! Get up!" Oh I could quote the things he says forever:) Yoga is probably the toughest for me but since continuing it I've seen great results in flexibility and strength, I highly recommend it!
  5. This is the best thing ever Autumn!! You are so organzied, I totally admire you!! I love everything you did, thank you for the fab review, I'll post my Vegas wedding too after the wedding

I went there to pick up my dress and they were there... both times I've been to that bridal salon it was his trunk show! Clearly meant to be... although I met him and he measured me for my dress when I was there last year and he wasn't there 2 weeks ago. Why not! His dresses are sooo pretty and unique

Amy ~ We took a hiatus and then last week DH conviced me just go out and run 3 miles a couple of days. Sometimes I hate him Anyways we need some variety so I'll keep y'all posted on what we think! And seriously you are crazy for another round of Tony Horton torture! Good luck HAHA! I know right... I find myself mouthing along everything he says as he says it, I feel like I've memorized P90X!
  8. There is another thread for P90X in existance, maybe a mod could combine the two? I'm on week 6 of P90X, my second time through as I completed it last year. I bought and started Insanity and almost finished it and moved back to P90X as it got me better results. I'm sore all the time still even at week 6 but definitely seeing some nice definition in my stomach, arms, back and legs which is nice.
  9. Di - That's wonderful that your girls are all booked!! I have all my bridesmaids booked except one that is quite questionable right now. 2 of FI's groomsmen bailed, really sad. We're totally uneven but I don't care anymore I have 3 more guests to book and then done, it's a relief to almost be finished booking people! Karen - I think my alterations will be $500 as well!! SO annoying... thank you for the compliment on my dress BTW!
  10. Cookies are my #1 weakness!!! I used to be someone who hated working out, it hurt, it was exhausting, felt like nothing ever changed. The trick is actually doing something you enjoy, you can find something for sure. I started a bootcamp that I loved years ago and when that ended I found out that kickboxing class was my thing, LOVE kickboxing, I'm down anytime and excited for it. So I say try a variety of things until you find something that keeps you interested and you'll expand from there trying new things. I myself hate driving to the gym, I cancelled my gym membership and am a devout member of DVD workouts at home. I love them, I never "miss" a class or go "to late to get a good machine" at the gym. To each their own for sure, just find out your preference and what works for you. Trying classes with friends always works too. I am doing Piloxing this weekend, combo of pilates and boxing. I get inspired by staring at Victorias Secret bodies going for that, lame I know but it gets me pumped if I keep my ideal body image in my head while working out, I push harder and know that I get that much closer with each workout I do. I also like googling celebrity diets/workouts. It gives me an idea of how hard these ladies have to work to have the body they have.
  11. I bought and completed a month and a half of Insanity before I switched back to P90X. Insanity is NOT easy... I started it after a 2 month hiatus which was a mistake for sure. I'm on week 6 of my second round of P90X and plan to move back to Insanity and complete it right after I finish P90X. I personally got in better shape with P90X but Insanity did build my endurance A LOT. I am doing P90X much easier now I know because of Insanity. Let me know how you like it!

BD = Boudoir A boudoir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning "to pout" Basically it's a sexy, lingerie, pin-up (or whatever you want to wear) photoshoot of you for your future husband. I did one in January with lingerie and I'm having my photographer put together a nice leatherbound book with inscriptions in it and it will be given to him on our wedding day by my MOH while he's getting ready. It's his wedding gift from me A lot of us girls are doing it, it seems to be growing in popularity.

So now I'm back to trying to get different vases, it's been a few months since my new photos and dimensions were sent to them so I'm still waiting to hear back and no they never sent me a picture. It's kind of a "we don't know what you'll get until wedding day"

I got a disk for mine, that would totally be a dealbreaker for me!
