Booked her flights for super cheap months ago then had to cancel her flights as she booked them for the wrong days... forgot to rebook and now the flights are MORE than double and she's broke. She now has no idea if she's even coming. Let's just say I have wracked up a whole new list of peoples weddings I will NOT be attending. Her wedding is a destination for me, NY, which is more expensive than Mexico which I was helping her plan. If she bails on me, guess who's not going to hers. I'm seriously thinking I need to practice drinking before then or I'm going to be a state before we've even got to the club!! and don't know what to wear!! argh! something else to sort out!! lol HAPPY FRIDAY LADIES!!!!!!!!! Oh you're going to have SO much fun girl, don't even worry! I'd start drinking now if I were you You should have a glass of wine for your BD shoot, it got me in such a warm and playful mood it was great. Bachelorette party! How exciting, mine is apparentally all planned and whatnot. This is the only thing I made a request for, I wanted to go to a club and party in Cancun so I'm pretty sure that's what's happening. I've been searching for a dress, it's hard!!

Honestly.. it's a relief! We've grown apart but only because she's jealous that our other friend started dating my FI's best friend... I know she feels left out but she's done some pretty mean spirited things lately and said things that just weren't cool. We always invited her out and she always cancelled... I think we were the ones putting the work into the friendship. It is a bit of a weight lifted off my shoulders... now I can have the person who truly has been there for me and who I truly want to be my MOH. I just couldn't have my one friend as a MOH before because the other would have been upset and left out... I didn't do what I wanted to make someone else happy WTF? I forgot this was my wedding. My FI and I agree that I shouldn't respond to the messages. We're both happier that this weight has been lifted and I'm happier and better off without her friendship! C'est la vie! Sorry to vent like this... you ladies might be the only one's who might at least some what understand... or maybe I'm just crazy. Now do I ruin my work out tonight with a glass of wine I'm sorry you have to go through this BS... what a coward seriously to text you with such a huge decision and a disrespectful and spiteful one at that. I know Katie had a similar blow up with one of her wedding party but I believe they resolved it. I am really shocked at how many of my friends I've gotten to see in their true light with my wedding coming about. Sad... it just makes me grateful for my other friends though. I had a day today as well and am ruining it with beer. Enjoy your wine darling!

We are also then paying for the AHR in June.....don't know quite how we'll do it yet. 2 weeks or so an our final payments will be do on all three rooms we're paying for, oh and we just added our photographer so 4 rooms, and the wedding. It will completely drain the savings account and everything after that for and the AHR will have to go on a credit card, might have to max it out and then transfer the balance to an interest free card to pay it off. This wedding stuff is stressful, I'm trying to find ways to cut corners but Karisma does not make it easy! We too are paying for every red cent. February/March has been the month of all payments due. I think someone is throwing an AHR for me in my home town so I'm not sure what I have to do on that end, my cousin throwing it is a caterer so the hard part is done! Ooo fun Autumn! I've never had traditional Irish food before! Definitely on the diet for today at least That's the thing Insanity really did for me, my endurance is pretty crazy now. It made going back to P90X a LOT easier. Insanity also did good stuff for the ab area which is always pretty priceless, especially since Shawn T. hates doing sitting abs.

Yeah my mother is the only one who's expressed a concern on the drug wars and my answer continues to be... "Mom, it's like saying there is a drug war going on in NY so are you afraid to live in California?" She's like... well no... to which my response is, well that's about how far away that is going on from where I'm getting married. 36 people booked, I have 6 more possibilities that want to do last minute. I almost for my sanity want to tell them, no, I'm sick of waiting for people to book. I have like 6 people without flights too. Ugh. -

I'm 1,000% jealous you have so many friends and family coming. I'm have a total downer day with people that cancelled and haven't booked their flights! -

My shoot was supposed to be 2 hours but my makeup lady was 1/2 hour late so we only got 1.5 hours. OMG 4 hours!!!! I can't imagine. I don't think I would be able to move today if mine had lasted that long. But lucky you, you must have gotten amazing shots with that amount of time! I'll bet your book is a sight to behold with all the personal touches you put in it! Lucky FI HAHA!! You're sister got drunk and you didn't even drink! That must have been amusing for you at least Man, as soon as I got to my photogs house he said hello and then said he'd be right back... came back with a double Patron. We weren't on any sort of time crunch since we were at my photogs house and my MOH and I had about 4 drink/smoke breaks so it was more leisurely. I was pretty buzzed and starving at the end of that one, especially having to drive the 45 miles back home. Thanks, I hope the book comes out awesome! I'm seriously dying to see some teasers of you with your awesome setting!

Go Autumn! Week one down! I totally feel the same way about Insanity... it's to cut the smaller framed people moreso, everyone on that program is tiny. When I did it, that was my same complaint, not as sore but tired all the time, those exercises although shorter are way more exhausting. I'm thinking of doing Insanity for my recovery weeks on P90X just to mix it up. OOoo... I KNOW a car bomb will get to me tonight instead of my workout... I know, I know but I'll make up for it Have an awesome St. Patty's Day!

I caught a crazy cold right before my BD shoot and it was over like the day of, whew!

I was like, jeez I thought I was in shape... my photo shoot was 4 hours long too, I was in pain (and quite tipsy) by the end. How long was your shoot?

Thanks girls for all the FI fighting support, Katie I know what you mean. I'm not happy that any of you are fighting with your FI's, I'm relieved that this is common and it is what it is. FI and I picked out and paid for the boys outfits last night and I made a pre-wedding brochure with a packing list and information about navigating through the Cancun airport and connecting with their tranfers to the hotel. I feel like I got alot done last night. I also just got my bridal bouquet proof pictures and the groomsman bout's pictures of my real touch flowers. I really love my bouquet!! My BD book has been ordered as well, all pictures, quotes and inscriptions finalized. Girls, let me tell you this was a long process... I had to pick 35 out of 250 pictures and figure out inscriptions and whatnot. I hope it looks good! I will put pictures up of it once I get it. I also made my MOH's gift last night, it's a really random gift, nothing to do with me and her but it's something that will make her cry which really what I like to go for. I bought this gold vintage locket, it's like 2 inches long and got her mom to scan photos of herself at 17 as well as herself at age 17 and put them in the locket. Those are the 2 women in her life that really inspire her and she loves so I figured why not Tonight I'm going to my first dress fitting with my MOH, a bridesmaid and a groomsmen all that don't have to work today. I'm excited, it should be fun, especially going to dinner and getting drinks today for St. Patty's

Now if only I could respond that way to the wedding, lol. My shoot was 1.5 hours and we had the complete run of a B&B just outside of town. Antique furniture and couches, giant beds, large windows--I can't wait to show off the pictures when I get them! Oh wow Wendy... I'm so excited! I wish I had more furniture props for mine, I'm sure yours totally rock Can't wait to see em'!!!

Aww Di, that sucks! I literally have spent a year threatening high fees on people booking elsewhere, it was even in my invite which I'm sure is quite tacky of me but I wanted to force people to stay at my resort I would nicely explain that you budgeted for each invitee plus one and that she can bring a guest but she can't bring an entourage. Good luck girlie, hope you get it sorted out. -

They may charge you to set it up but at least you didn't have to bring it! That's terrible! I'd resend her the email she sent you that says $50 per sheet and demand she stick to her original quote. Doing that in the sales world is a big no no.

I definitely think it's a possibility and it may happen... the only thing is, it may happen one or two weeks before any of our weddings... theres no prediction at all and you most likely won't get a direct flight which isn't a big deal, it's the leaving it to chance that I'm not a fan of
