If you like cardio a LOT, Insanity is definitely for you It's pretty intense, I always am dripping with sweat and feel like my heart is going to explode, haha! -

Just completed week 7, started week 8 which is recovery week and decided to do a week of Insanity instead (all intense cardio) in order to lean up a little. -

Shannon - Luggage scale! I didn't even know that existed. I was going to put my luggage on my regular scale... is there any difference between a standard scale and a luggage scale? -

I definitely need the vacation : ) Kudos to you! If I started painting anything right now, it would be partially done. I'd end up walking away and doing wedding stuff guaranteed. I still have a lot to do and it's making me nervous every day! I just noticed we're date twins! You me & JT3 are all the same date -

I went and bought a bunch of Thank you cards( not the bulk kind, big thank you cards) and Kenny, my husband had made a video compiled of all our pics of the wedding with music in the background. So were making copies of put the video and sending it all who attended the wedding. Im just wondering if anyone else had any unique ideas on how to thank everyone who comes to mexico? Amy I think that's a great idea! I was thinking of sending a video or a photo etc. I hadn't put too much thought into it quite yet

They're all on board now (I had to give them a geography lesson). So let the planning begin! Now where to start is the problem! HAHA! My mom told me the same thing... "you know it's very dangerous down there now with the drug lords and all the murders" I had to explain to her it's like us being afraid of something going on in NY while living hear in LA... it's so far away! I'm glad you have it all sorted out. Just do one thing at a time and you'll be fine

Crista - You've been busy girl! Centerpieces sound awesome and it's funny working with Lomas in Mexico and Shanghai for my TTD everything is in cm so I'm actually getting used to it I can't believe you lost 3 sizes, that's such an accomplishment!! It does suck to have to assemble your invites alone but sometimes when I'm alone I get the most done!

This place is the best, well priced luggage and free shipping! Luggage - Huge Selection of Luggage, Suitcases & Travel Gear - eBags I've purchased all the luggage I own from there. Thank you I really wanted to do this guest book but since I already have 2 guest books I thought it may be overkill -

What are you ladies doing in reagrds of a guest book I am kinda stumped for that.. You're not behind! I keep laughing that I packed everything 5 weeks before leaving... I was just so sick of all the boxes and some I hadn't ever even opened so I just wanted to do something with them. I still have quite a bit to do and figure out how to pack clothes My photog sent me a book of my engagement photos (which I didn't even realize I got in my package) so that's cool and I'm using that. I'm also using a guestbook tree since I have a bird and tree theme going on. It's a big image of a tree with no leaves that says "Our Family Tree" and people "leaf" their thumbprint with green ink on an empty branch and sign their name next to it and we frame it when we get back. -

We're quietly going to the JP on Thursday. I like your way better! I checked with our airline and they will let us bring 5 bags with a combined weight of... I forgot but it's written at home I am going to weigh them all and measure them and all that fun stuff. I have my MOH bringing one of my bags for me and giving a few other things to my girls to bring. I even bought those space bags for my clothes so I can pack lots of them in my suitcases. This is exactly why I'm packing now so I'm not rushed and freaking out soon. Most of the bulk is OOT bag stuff, I went pretty overboard and the bags are big heavy canvas beach bags for my girls and 30 paper lanterns is taking up some space as well. I'm also bringing all my candles which is making things quite heavy.

I forgot to mention to you ladies I did a lot of research on hotels in Vegas for my legal wedding. I think we're going to rent a giant suite and party there. After researching a lot I happend to find the Emperor Suite @ Caesar's Palace which they lovingly refer to as "The Hangover Suite" from the movie and that's one of our front runners! I'm almost more excited about Vegas now than Mexico, since I've been planning Mexico now for over 2 years!

Diana - oh trust me I will!! Hope you girls had a fabulous weekend! Yesterday I woke up determined to get stuff done so I literally started on wedding stuff before breakfast and didn't stop until I got up to go to bed. Half of my living room was filled with boxes of wedding stuff so I pretty much opened them all up and packed up 4 suitcases very strategically. I removed all the "Made in China" stickers for customs... which everything I bought was pretty much made in China... but doing this made me feel the time crunch, my wedding feels quite close now! I nearly finished my hangover kits, just need to print and cut the front sticker and done! I just got proofs back on my OOT bag tags & escort cards. FI finished assembling the LED lights to the batteries and even figured out a convenient plastic pull tab for easy lighting by whoever is hanging our lanterns, love it! I did a lot of research and calling Vegas last night and figured out who I'm inviting. I think we're looking at getting a huge suite and celebrating in the suite. I'm going to start doing my planning thread soon... I hope I don't have to pull anything out of my suitcases for this, LOL! -
I hope you girls had a great weekend! I have been so busy and frustrated lately, yesterday I finally feel like I made some serious progress and it finally feels like my wedding is fast approaching. I packed 4 suitcases yesterday! I mean, I woke up and got right to work, half my living room was filled with boxes of stuff I've purchased for the wedding and I unboxed it all and put it in suitcases and rearranged it all like 1,000 times. None of these suitcases have clothes btw... just stuff for the wedding which is crazy to me since I still have more wedding stuff to get!!! Where are my clothes going to go?? LOL!

Reading all of your comments has been extremely helpful to me but it's so much info that I can't possibly keep up! My wedding is scheduled for November 12, 2010 @ Azul Sensatori @ 4pm. Problem is, I have had so much drama surrounding getting family members (on his side) on board to come to the wedding that I haven't started planning anything @ the resort!! So basically any and all advice that you ladies can share would be great! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and learn along the way. Hopefully, when I get started with all of this I can offer some assistance also! Hi Meredith! Nicole is right, it's absolutely crucial to remember that a DW is your decision and if that's what you want, don't let ANYONE, make you feel bad or guilty or upset you with what they say. This is ONLY the beginning and things can get tough but in the end it's YOUR day!! You do what you want and if some people can't come, won't come etc. they're the ones missing out, not you That's been one of the toughest thing to deal with for me... people unable to come, people cancelling last minute etc. I truly hope you don't have to deal with any of this but the best thing I can tell you is that's it's not worth stressing over, it will drive you crazy and you can't control it. On a lighter note, please feel free to ask us any questions, we're all happy to help! A few of us are closing in on our wedding dates in the next month so our planning threads/reviews/photos will help a lot! Amy

It's a front-runner to be the one I give him on our wedding day. I love, love, love the vintage feel. It's more classy and classic as opposed to old. I wish I had more of a vintage shoot! Each time you ladies show me your pictures it makes me want to do it again, which I probably will, just a different style, so fun!

Wendy, I planned on responding to your email with the BD pix but I feel like I need to compliment you for everyone to hear (see) I love every single on of the photos you sent, they are SO classy and GORGEOUS!! I love the black veil piece and the red teddy and the white thigh highs so almost period pieced in the lovely location.... I'm blown away! You are such a gorgeous woman, your hair, makeup, porcelain skin! My absolute favorite one is when you are leaning up against the open window looking out... stunning! Your photog did a great job as well, you should be so proud!
