I'm glad we're entertaining You're coming up soon, what left do you have to do?
  2. I agree with you Di, earth tones and warms would look good with your skin, hair and eyes. With brown eyes too a little purply or greeny on the lower lash line always makes mine pop.
  3. Thanks girls!!! Meaghan, I'm actually going to let my processional song play out and have a few more songs that will play if people want to hang around in between the time we leave and when the coordinators direct my guests down to my cocktail hour on the beach.

Thank you! As well you my dear! I think Diane is right, match the makeup to what looks best with your skin, the MAC girl will do that for you so you don't have to worry about it at all. Have fun, can't wait to hear all about it

  6. Chrissy it looks amazing!!! I would love to get a bag with all that! You're making me want to put more in my OOT bags now

  8. Thanks Katie & Amy! I really like the waves, I think it suits my dress and cage tulle veil perfectly! It was done super messy just because my hair after 2 other styles wasn't cooperating but I have no doubt she'll nail it on wedding day! Katie - I heard on the news that Heathrow is flying again, WAAAAHOOOO!!!!!
  9. Thanks girls! I like the first one too but I really from the front (notice no pic) looked like a mother and matronly for some reason! I know the waves are sloppy but it was just to get an idea and they'll be tweaked on wedding day
  10. Ok girls, finally updated some pix of my hair trial... excuse the cheese smile in the last one and my nose looks huge... anyways, here's the rough idea:

  14. 3 vodka sodas and I have a mild hangover the next day! Ugh! I too and a big control freak and being out of control, no way, bad times! Here's the hangover pills I bought, they are all natural, just vitamins! Source Naturals Hangover Formula -- 120 Tablets - Vitacost Yeah all my girls are in the 20's still and ready to party, a lot of us feel the same though, we want to be able to get some sun and drink and NOT be hungover the next day.
  15. Diane - I agree, I really like a clean buzz feeling so I can be energetic and dance and enjoy the night. I love doing shots unfortunately and once they start it's hard to stop them. I'm definitely bringing a bottle of water with me no matter how stupid that will look
  16. I know what you mean Di! I'm going to be in a club in Cancun for mine! I definitely have to be worried, they pour booze straight from the bottle there and pull you up onto the bar... definitely wearing shorts underneath my dress At least yours isn't in Mexico, I already told my MOH that I didn't want to get super hammered because if I'm in bed the next day hiding from the gorgeous Mexican sun I'll be pissed! If that's not scary enough as it is, my MOH's husband (huge drinker when he does) wants to take me out for a reverse bachelorette (all the boys take me out, all the girls take FI out) the day before our actual bachelor/bachelorettes which is Cinco de Mayo sooooo I'm really trying to vito this one so I can actually enjoy my real bachelorette! I bought a HUGE bottle of hangover pills and vitamin B1 in preparation for this
  17. wooo hooo you ladies will be partying it up on my wedding day My bachelorette is on May 6th

Work is definitely suffering - I am very forgetful here especially. I am sleepless too - I spend hours on the computer doing wedding stuff when I get home and I shut it off around 1030 and dont get to sleep til midnight. Katie - I saw that the worst is most likely over! woo hoo. stupid volcanoes! I have 2 guests traveling from the UK to my wedding and my Mom was like "what about carol" and I said I don't have the energy to worry about something as uncontrollable as a volcano!!! Heres to our memories getting back to normal in June Same here, I have notes, spreadsheets and documents both at work AND home and tons of lists in my Blackberry and a note thing in my purse and another at home, too much! Hahaha, yeah no energy or time to worry about Carol unfortunately, it's nothing you can control anyways! Quote: Originally Posted by amybermuda Hi Kortney! I also would have killed the TAs and WCs and BMs and guests - its much better to vent here and know everyone has similar struggles. I would definitely choose the cheaper packages if you are not using their photographer especially. Plus a lot of that stuff is fluff! Do you have a TA yet? Choose someone who has multiple people your guests can contact in case your person is out and one with lots of experience with Karisma. The tour operators will so NOTHING for you. So although your TA might book through Travel Impressions or Fun Jet - they need to talk to the hotel directly to get you your deals. My TA is/was awful and my guests constantly complain about her. It would have been so much easier on me personally if I had a better TA. Congrats on picking your date!!!! Look forward to helping you plan :-) LOL Amy! This crossed my mind too but it's Khloe who's married to Lamar and Kourtney who just had the baby! I'm ashamed I even know this but that show is totally a guilty pleasure

I have been reading some of your post and think it is awesome how you have all become sort of a little "family". I have so many questions and so little time. I noticed that there were a few post regarding fees for bringing your own things to decorate with. Did anyone get the final word on that? Cecile is my WP. Has anyone worked with her? Also, I am thinking of doing the pearl package and just adding on. I tink that might be the cheapest way to go. I have also debated doing the silver ir gold but just do not know if they are worth the extra money. You girls seem much more informed than I. Hope you do not mind all the questions. Thanks in advance, Kortney Congrats and welcome Kortney! Nicole will add your date to our list We're definitely a family, I love these girls, they are an amazing support system and I don't know how I would have gotten through this wedding planning process without them The cost for setting up decor and whatnot will be decided once you're there dependant on what you bring. From past brides I've only seen $50 - $100 set up fees so it's not too bad. I believe Cecile is the new WC, my WC mentioned training her to me the other day. I think going with the Pearl Package and adding on is the way to go, that way you're not spending money on anything you don't need. Ask away! That's what we're all here for I suggest checking out the planning threads and wedding photos from past AS brides, that helped me out SO, SO much!
