Down the road when I make a photobook with all our pictures (showers/luncheons, wedding, honeymoon, AHR), I'll take what people have written and intermittently incorporate it into the book. I was going to do a straight up postcard guest book with postcards from Mexico and then mail them to us, but then I realized that since I'm taking everyone on a boat, they'll get wet and possibly ruined! I love it! That's a great idea, I definitely want to see pix of your AHR details! You're right there really is! I would have settled for Vegas weddings too, I'm telling you, there aren't enough Vegas BDW brides on here. All I have learned on my own is that flowers are SO expensive out there it's insane! Love those little umbrellas, I'm having something made for my cupcakes too to go along with my theme. FI and I love them and they were his Grandmother's fav thing. She won't be there bc she passed away but now a piece of her will be. Also, in Mayan folklore the hummingbirds have an interesting story about being created from other bird and have a marriage ceremony. If I find the story I will pass it on for all of you. Oh yeah, just google searching! If you search for large photos that helps on the quality side of the image but it cuts your search results down dramatically. DH and I were just outside on our lunch break looking at these two hummingbirds chasing each other, they were so cute they looked like they were flirting Any type of hummingbird? Cetain color? I'll do some searching for you, I'm the Google master!

Any idea where to begin? THANKS! You're talking to me right... haha, um which postcard? I made 4 of them. All images of which I stole from the internet Google search baby! I just made another postcard for my Vegas wedding on Sunday, it should be here by Wed or Thursday and I'll share with you girls. I may do a mini planning thread for my Vegas wedding, searching this forum there is literally no info and only a couple Vegas planning threads. My wedding is just a exaggerated legal day but maybe someone will want to do this in the future.

I just think that my friends love Vegas and it's a 3 hour drive and so it's a simple getaway. I've also pretty much convinced everyone that I really know how to have fun and go overboard for them. The company is sending us another one set to ship tomorrow. Really great customer service, btw. LOVE THE BANNER! I totally want a banner now

We will go out to dinner, have the limo (or pink cadi) pick us up, and take us to the wedding chapel. hahaha Then we will go out afterwards. My brother and his gf are going, and maybe 1 other couple. I am still debating on which "theme" I want to do, but it is going to be HYSTERICAL!!! Dueling Elvis's, Blue Hawaii, Pink Cadillac, etc are all SO funny. I really cannot wait!!! So fun! We are doing the Blue Hawaii package I've been frantically scouring Etsy, making a VistaPrint postcard invite, trying to decide what to wear, how do to do my hair and get flowers, 12 days!!! We planned on having 2 couples go with us, then my mom and brother wanted to come so DH invited his parents and sister and brother-in-law and then it expanded and I have 30+ people coming now... how crazy is that?

I am having 70 guests and its not in my budget to order them twice but I am sooo obessed I cannot do without them. I know that they are def in for my ceremony as I cannot imagine looking back at pictures and seeing any other chairs there. (Again, I am going for the antique look/feel and the other chairs just won't cut it.) I am having a cocktail reception between the ceremony and reception somwhere other than the reception site. (They are also moving my ceremony flowers down and don't want my guests to be there as they set up) so there should be enough time to have htis done. My WC told me I had to order chairs twice but hoping you'll think that I'll be able to work something out once I am there. Thanks! I hate to feel this way about this subject but I can only base this off my own experience of having the chiavari chair situation. I worked on this for a while and negotiated, wheeled and dealed and this was one point that was non-negotiable with Lomas. I don't think they will move them all for you to be perfectly honest. You can try but I wouldn't risk betting that the onsite coordinators will change their mind. =(

And just in case you're thinking about it, if you are planning to sell any of your stuff let me know. I really need lanterns among other things. To chose your ceremony setup? I'd do it with your WC offsite now, lock that in and then confirm or change with your onsite coordinator once you get there. Thank you!! Oh man, I don't know what made us both cry, I was crying at the bottom of the stairs, stopped briefly to start my walk, turned the corner, looked at him and he was crying and I burst back into tears, which continued for a little up there and then we both stopped and were fine for the rest of the ceremony until walking back down the aisle. It felt like so much pent up emotion and anxiety and something I'd been looking forward to for such a long time. Thanks that TTD was so comfortable until I got into the ocean and it weighed like 200lbs after that I swear. The pearls are real and a gift from my Aunt who was in Shanghai earlier this year. My photographer couldn't believe I was gonna do a TTD with them in the ocean Quote: Originally Posted by amybermuda Lindz, I love your new siggy pic. You have such good outfits in all of them. I knew we might have to put something down. Now with that said it's not like I have to block rooms but to get the current promotion they are running you do. Any Advice? Side Note: Current promotion if you block or outright book 20 or more rooms you get 20% off room rates and 20% off private events Yep, that's exactly right... I paid mine up front, 14 rooms is a pretty penny if you do the math. I filled up all my rooms and got fully refunded for my deposit. It's definitely worth it I say. Just make sure you have a good TA that will cancel any rooms if need be before the drop dead date.

Chong, Im so glad I told you about this blog and that you found your way around on here- isn't it amazing!!! Looks like the gazebo fabric price went up on you, booo!! That totally sux. Sometimes if you write a email asking for them to honor the price you heard it was before their may be somthing they can work out for you. OR maybe even inquire about it with the onsite? Maybe they will atleast give you a resort credit and you can use they credit for a massage or twards wedding day hair style or somthing ;0 Also, I remember trying to order drinks to room service and them saying no only beer, but we found an employee that was super nice and we talked to him about it and he said he would bring up drinks lol we threw $20 to bring 10 margaritas and 10 shots up and he did it :0, again TIPS GO ALOOOOOONG way. Believe me, he came back up a few times for orders lol. Anyways, Im enjoying all your pics and so excited for upcoming brides. Who's next Megan?? Heeeey Amy!! I was just thinking about you today like, where'd she go!? Good call on the tipping, it does take you far and I didn't even think about trying again to get drinks, mostly because I was never in my room. I lived at the adult swim up bar. I do like my girl she has been really sweet so far, and sometimes she responds the same day but lately its been 1-2 week response time. I too am a big emailer! I had Kiara and she would take a week to respond sometimes but always very thorough with me. In fact she emailed me today to say what's up and she loved my photos

He was a major selling point for us, but once we realized we wouldn't get to enjoy b/c we'd be taking pictures, we scrapped him. Yeah it is! DH pretends to not watch it but always comments and asks me questions from a distance in our living room Bridezillas and My Fair Wedding, I love as well! I always try to figure out what David would have changed with my wedding! Those are guest photos though, not even pro! I know... I got him really for my guests, they FLIPPED when they saw him and we're totally entertained. I just wanted one posed picture with him. At least I have something Quote: Originally Posted by amybermuda AMMMMMYYYY!! So cute! I totally had forgotten all about it. I thought I was forgetting things b/c of too much tequila but really at that point I had 1/2 glass of champagne.... It just is so intense its hard to remember everything. Now I cant wait to get my pro pics to start remembering! I think you Gazebo decorators need to check out Lomas's website. The exotic gazebo is $220 and includes 4 sheets of fabric. Point your WCs to this website and say this is what you want!!!! Exotic Gazebo 4 poles with sheer fabric, 2 large hanging corsages with 25 pastel or tropical flowers each one, and petals from 48 roses. Category Gazebos - List of products - Weddings in Cancun & Riviera Maya by Lomas Travel YES! When I got my pro photos, I looked through them and was like, I don't remember this photo, how did they take this without me knowing? Where, huh?! I had 2 photographers and they were stealth. I also wasn't drunk, I think I got through a glass of champange and a signature drink by after 9pm. I couldn't eat because I was so excited and wasn't drinking for some reason... naturally drunk off the fun maybe? LOL! I quickly remedied that by demanding shots. The Exotic Gazebo setup is exactly what I got... I have a friend picture I'll find for you... I really liked it, just told them to do all white flowers with natural greens. You can request whatever colors you want as long as they have it in stock. Quote: Originally Posted by thefuturemrslutz hahaaha The donkey is just chillin...how precious!!!
