Any thoughts -- would it look stupid to have the legs and inside with fabric and not the top. Would it look good to drap the whole thing, including the top. Would it look nice to drap only the legs? Other ideas? Hi Anon, I think those are great ideas! I love the draping inside, with some lights up there it woud look gorgeous! You might want to keep it open on the sides so everyone around at tables can see in or just wrap it tightly around the beams.

Are these the only approved photographers for AS?? if not, who are the other ones? and does anybody have a link for egs of their photography? Thanks ) Katie. Hi Katie! Ok so I met my photographer through my friend you got married last year and highly recommended him. He's traveling and attending my wedding as a guest and staying there and enjoying himself so I don't have to pay for his trip! He's doing an engagement shoot for me next month and then my wedding day and a TTD the day after, he's wonderful to email with and just a cool guy. Do you want to see his stuff? Since he will already be there maybe he can photograph your wedding since it's the day before mine! Let me know and I'm PM you his website Amy

I've had Jo'Zeen who was TERRIBLE, then Grace who I loved and now Kiara. The panic-bride in me emailed her right away to confirm that Grace's recent requests and reservations were'nt lost in translation and she promptly got back to me and assured me all was well. I feel good about her

I agree, you're not behind! Because if you are then so am I haha! I have been going through the dress dilemma, I didn't realize it was going to be so hard =/ -

Analiese - I love heels, if you don't mind would you post a pic of your shoes? I have been looking for heels longer than I've been looking for my dress!

Thank you all for the suggestions! David's Bridal is very near by but I am not willing to go there... I have heard terrible things. Maggie Sottero has beautiful dresses I just wasn't sure where to find any, I will start looking specifically for that brand and give her a try. La Soie is on my list to go to this weekend, hopefully that works out for me! =) I'll post my dress if I succeed

Ok, so far I've been to 6 bridal stores in Los Angeles... in one weekend mind you I can't believe I found NOTHING... everything I've been scouting online and in Bridal magazines is not available in california... Melissa Sweet Reverie for example is NOT sold out here. I'm going nuts, I'm looking for a strapless, sweetheart chiffon, flowy beachy look. Everything for some reason seems to have beading or jewels on it which I want none of. I want beautiful draping and fabric flower details. Does anyone have any suggestions for good bridal stores out here to try on that style and then at least I can order the dress online if I need to? Thanks to any help!

I did a group booking as well and it makes me feel better that I did. I secured swim-up suites for only $10 more than the standard rooms because I caught it at Swine Flu time when rates plummeted. Now I have fancy rooms for my wedding party and a really great price =)

(I'm 5ft 2" so kinda edging towards heels lol) Thanks, Katie ) Heels! I'm a heels girl all the way even though I'm 5'7... lucky FI is 6'1 I'm also getting married on the Sky Deck not the beach which makes it much easier to justify. I'm planning on having my girls (bridal party) wear heels for the ceremony and I'm giving them flip flops for the receptions so they can dance their booties off like I know they will =)

My fiance wants the whole shebang cigar roller for HIMSELF at our wedding I didn't think to just buy a box of cigars and set them up with the ash tray, cigar lighter and cutter, that's a WONDERFUL idea and much more cost effective =)

Unrealistic Weight loss expectations?
KittenHeart replied to The Mandy in Chandy's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I'm just gonna say first, congrats on your weight loss, that's amazing! Honestly, I think you can do it, it's a big goal but it's not completely unrealistic. Just eat healthy and don't starve yourself, exercise every day, even if it's 30 minutes a day. Just make sure to focus on ramping up your metabolism, eating enough foods (clean, healthy, fresh fruit, veggies, grains and lean meat) with lots of water and lots of cardio. Good luck, you should definitely update us on how you do, I'm interested to know. =) -

LOL! now i'm afraid i'm a total cheapskate too! i am buying my 4 girls wedding day jewelry (so far bracelets that cost me only $10 each, and i will be making earrings to match). i plan on paying for an excursion for them too, so it will probably total $80-$100 each? i paid for the flower girl's dress and shoes. plus they will all get OOT bags like everyone else. You think you have cheap friends! My MOH which I was her MOH last month gave me and all the bridesmaids an empty frame and a pen. =/
