I did the same thing, find a good protein shake and you can change it up every day... light vanilla muscle milk powder, nonfat milk, ice & a little flax peanut butter and a banana was one I loved and it was like dessert. I know that sounds weird or gross but it covers a lot of the bases and tastes amazing

Ok ladies... So I had the big moment of truth day. I went to the bridal salon with my mom, Matron of Honor, Maid of Honor and a close honest friend at my side. I met the designer of my dress, Matthew Christopher and hit it off, he was so amazing, picked out my dress in question and a few others to try on. Dress after dress, looked good but not as good, finally I put on Lalique, I immediately got emotional and butterflies in my stomach and knew for SURE she was the one. I walked out and all four of them gasped and nodded and tears, perfect. I bought the dress! The first one I had in question. Matthew gave me 10% off, measured me personally and told me he's making a pattern for me to make the dress for me back in NY, no alterations needed! He also bought me my wedding shoes! Him and I picked some out, how amazing is he? I was too excited to wait until I got the pictures from my MOH, I'll post those as soon as I get them tomorrow!!!! Thank you all SO much for your advice and kind words, it truly helped me feel confident about my decision

Wow where is the continuity with all this pricing!? I wouldn't accept the pricing, believe it or not everything can be negotiated. Don't settle ladies, they will bend if you're nice about it. I hope everyone had a great weekend, I'm floating right now because I had the most fabulous day, I bought my dress! Met the designer, he bought me a pair of shoes for my wedding, any I wanted (I know!) and took my measurements to make a pattern to make my dress for me... so no alterations. Still reeling from this day! I'll post pix if you guys want once I get them from my MOH

I think that's totally fair I am letting my bridesmaids wear whatever knee length black dress they want so they are all comfortable and happy. I'm having a custom hair flower made for them in my color so they all have something similar... and it's much more inexpensive

Ash, OMG! That's ridiculous!!! I seriously might just bring my own fabric and bows. I saw thick satin bows tied vertically around the top portion of the chairs that looked adorable and might do that. $600 worth of fabric to drape is pretty absurd too. If I were you I'd buy a bottle of $2 wine and ship it down to Mexico, just to see if it makes it there. That would be more of an accurate test I think than just an empty box and you could see how many days it takes to get there. I'd love to hear back on your test because I did plan to ship champagne as well

I keep seeing everyones amazing and creatively talented boarding pass STD's and keep forgetting to share mine. I decided to make the boarding pass simple and put a thin refridgerator tested magnet on the back of the pass. Our Best Man is a web designer and I guided him through this and used the famous Fiskars rotary cutter and perforator. Sorry these pictures are blurry but you get the idea! Thank you all for the inspiration and templates, I couldn't do it without you!

I am definitely buying a second cheap dress for my TTD, I know the concept is kind of lost but I love fashion and my wedding dress is going to feel like art in my closet. It serves no purpose after my wedding day except for it being something pretty to look and make me smile every time I see it

I'm trying to keep an open mind but like an idiot I tried on another dress that looked great on me, on the model in these pictures not so much, since she's a stick and I've got curve...
