I'm SO relieved that I'm not the only one stressing about this... granted I've got more time than most of you but I've been staying on top of people with friendly reminders and keeping in touch with my TA. I did get a group contract for 10 rooms, swim up suites because around Swine Flu time it was only a few dollars more than the standard room and the swim up suites are fantastic! I'm using my sales tactics to push good pricing or grabbing the last few of the special rooms and it's working pretty well. People responding thanking me because they forgot so if you word things well or personally nudge it works. I tell people that they'll thank me for it in Mexico

Mesita - Where did you get the veil? I tried one on with my wedding dress when I was shopping and fell in love with it but it was over $200!

Ok, maybe I'm a LITTLE bias but I vote for a) because I was MOH in my best friends wedding in June and she told us to "pick a black dress to your knees, whatever you want" which is the BEST thing ever for a bride to tell her bridesmaids by the way I actually bought the dress (option a) in black and LOVE it! I got so many compliments AND..... IT HAS POCKETS! OMG this was the best, for tissues and my camera and anything else I needed, I didn't need my purse at all. The dress has built in boning and a built in bra with a separate strap, I got it on sale too for like $75 bucks. Good for you for going with JCrew, I'm obsessed!

I am using them too and aside from the fact that my TA lives in NJ and I live in CA and our hours aren't matched up, they're fine. They respond pretty quickly and give me all the info I need so I'm happy. I also have nothing to compare them to since I've never worked with a TA before in my life.

Ok now I think I'm asking for too much... I gave people on our STD boarding passes the "check in for early booking" secret RSVP on our website option and got 45 people RSVP'd and that was a few months back and we get married next May! I'm sending out RSVP and booking reminders to everyone in September and asking for RSVP's and everyone booked by the end of the year. Hmmm that may be asking too much, the hotel I'm getting married at books up pretty fast...

I'm in Glendale, we should fine a more central location to everyone I don't even know how to get to Brea, thankfully I have GPS, HAHA!

Thanks ladies! I'm happy with it and structured, I think I'm going big for the TTD Good question Allisa! If anyone finds out the dimensions, let us know! As for Logos/Monograms I've been trying to figure out what I want too. I just found someone elses I liked and sent it over to our Best Man with the changes I wanted and colors. So if you know a photoshop saavy friend that wants to help a bride you could always ask, a logo is pretty simple.

If it makes you feel any better I've been engaged for a year and a half and will be getting my engagement shoot at the end of August. I have picked out (ok purchased) 3 outfits for myself and one of my bridesmaids actually owns a salon and is doing my hair and makeup. I agree with the other ladies, it's worth the investment of having great hair and makeup for photos you'll have forever.

I know I would be bothered by that personally, much more than I should be! I really doubt anyone will notice though... if it were me, I'd add something to it or change up the look a bit, hair flower, different style veil, colored sash maybe? You will be wearing it and THAT will be different so no matter what, don't worry

Ok here are some of the pictures from Sunday, they aren't great because the dress doesn't fit yet but you get the idea. It's off white, super light, not hot or heavy at all and so comfortable, when the tail (peacock) is bustled up it looks amazing! I got 10% off due to the trunk show, he took my measurements for me as he is creating a pattern back in NY (no alterations!) and he bought me shoes! What an amazing guy! (That's not the shoe I got BTW, the sales lady was just clowning around, we were having a great time... mutiple people were taking pix so that's why we aren't looking at one camera!) We also got a bunch of postcards with him and the models with his dresses on and he wrote me a sweet note for my wedding album The day couldn't have gone better if I asked for it. Ash - I didn't realize the dress would be so hard for me, I love shopping, love clothes, learning how to make them even yet I had the hardest time. Oh and I went WAAAY over budget. I think maybe more negotiating is done at the resort with the onsite wedding coordinators... as scary as that sounds that's one thing that all past AS brides have mentioned everything gets sorted out with WC @ AS. That might be a good idea for you to plan on that Allisa with your small group. By the way Zocollo Terrace has gone from, no limit to 40, to 50 and now is back down to 40 Also anyone being forced to get the Silver package (I am since my ceremony is on the sky deck) I asked them to make my 40 person dinner at Spoons the following morning for a farewell breakfast and moved my breakfast in bed to the following morning. I'm also going to have them upgrade my cake for a small fee to a square 2 tier. Pictures of my dress coming soon, doesn't look great because it's the sample and it was way too big for me
