Diva Cup / Instead Cup - tampon / pad alternative

This is really interesting. I'll be interested to hear the results of your "research". I have to admit, I never noticed any decrease in cramps when I began using my Diva. However, I began using it just a couple months before I went on BC pills, which changed my periods significantly. It had never occured to me that part of it could have been Diva. Please do keep us posted! -

The wedding is planned for Jan/Feb 2010 and I stumbled on this website and have been trying to read as much as I can before asking questions. Took me the whole day to read this thing. Anyway I was happy reading the posts from the start of this thread from Antonia, Becky, etc but by the end I was a bit disappointed with the price increases and the "no outside vendor(s)" policy. Now does this include musicians as well? We wanted to hire a salsa band to play for us for 1/2 the night, but with this new rule it could blow the budget and possibility. Does anyone know what bands the RPDC has under their payroll? We'll probably still stay at the RPDC and the GPR (For those with kids) since we want to be close to 5th Av., but might consider an off-site wedding with Ajua if RPDC is tight with the outside vendors. Also can someone give me Micaela's email address? Tried to contact Zulma but she is gone till October. Thanks Gil aka Groomzilla Of course there's room for grooms! We haven't set our date yet, and consequently have yet to book the wedding, so I'm afraid I can't help you with your vendor questions. (I'm curious about this too.) But I can at least provide you with Micaela's email: [email protected] Welcome and good luck with everything!!!

Welcome to the forum!!! In case you haven't run across it yet, here's the link for the Royal brides thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t17108. We check in regularly! As far as the birth certificates go, I'm wondering the same as a PP. Can't you just contact the city of your birth to find out what you need to do? Have you asked Royal? I want to say they might have some info posted on the website that helps out with that. Oh, I just found a document from them that might help. Take a look at this. Sorry, I couldn't get it to just copy and paste so you'll have to use some points to download it. =( Good luck! Real_Resorts_LEGAL_REQUIREMENTS.doc

Z Molu Photography : photos : Weddings- powered by SmugMug (you can enlarge the photos to view them full screen) He takes beautiful candid shots, but has his own style, I love his photos and just wanted to share them... it turns out that with his flight plus hotel for a night (he can't stay longer because his wife is pregnant and he doesn't want to leave her for too long) + his photography fee it's still less expensive than hiring del sol, or elizabeth medina. Just a thought, but if you find a local photographer that you really like, it might be a good option to explore. If they've never done destination weddings, you might even not have to pay their fee, just travel costs (we're doing that with our videographer...) Couple questions...can you try to repost the website, it didn't work. Otherwise I could just google it. =) The other question is, have you talked this through with Royal? I was under the impression that they weren't allowing any outside vendors anymore. Maybe you'd already gotten this sorted out before the new vendor policy went into effect? I'm very curious because it sounds like their own photographer isn't overly wonderful (haven't yet seen any of his/her work), but we won't be getting married until 2010 so the vendor policy might make or break whether or not we ultimately decide to go with Royal.

I thought it was cute! Oh, how funny! I'll have to go check that out!

Hmm...this is a tough situation! Part of me wants to advise you that it's YOUR wedding, not your family's, so do what you want. HOWEVER, I totally understand how difficult it would be to ask your family members to go back to an exotic location they've already discovered on their own. When she returned your email, did she hint at all at being upset that you might choose this locale for your wedding? I know since you've been struggling to decide on a place this might be a difficult question, but have there been any other places and/or resorts that keep coming up as well? I guess what I'm asking is, do you have any second favorites? I know that's a terrible question to ask! I'm just not sure what I'd do! Maybe keep exploring? No, I don't know!!! Sorry I'm not helping!

STD vs. Early Invitation?
Oscar_Ernie replied to Queenie77's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Hmm...I'd been pondering this very same question, especially since we're getting such an early start. I'm interested to here what the other gals have to say about this!=) -

The hallways were dark and I felt like I was walking through a cave. At the Royal, everything was bright and open. Just beautiful. I am very happy that we payed the extra money for The Royal. It was definitely worth it. I don't think our trip would have been at all relaxing if we stayed across the street. Thanks, this is especially helpful info! I'd like my guests to have the option of saving a few bucks (plus, a couple may bring kids anyway), but it's good to know that we're making the right decision to stay at The Royal ourselves. That place just look gorgeous!!! I can't wait!
